I remember when this song originally came out. Written and recorded by Joe South. He had an amazing album great voice.
I heard this song while I was trying to sleep last night. I listen to those words and thought how different this world would be if we tried to walk a mile in others shoes before we abuse, criticize and accuse.
I love this song and the commercial. If you listen to the words and just do as asked “walk a mile in my shoes” that goes for each of us. We all need to put on someone elses shoes.

These ads could be greatly improved if they did not point A finger at white people being the only ones who aren’t accepting of others. Rather than show people being non-accepting, show joyous inclusion. Welcoming neighbors.
