Only combine, of that vintage, that not only had the power to swing big duals, had the finals that were actually strong enough to carry duals. Allis Chalmers 👍
Holes in the fields really suck the yield down in a hurry. None the less, glad your corn shelling is completed, now you can move on to ear corn picking and other items of importance. Geese are a major problem for some farmers in our part of Ohio. Being a protected species, only so many things you can do to reduce/eliminate the problem. Now if they could develop ground hog and deer resistant beans...someone could get wealthy in a hurry LOL.
So glad you got the M3 l know you will take good care of it It is a beast with the duals also you have the L on tracks and the other L2 with the IH heads be looking forward to see them preserved and used I will be watching Springs just around the corner!!!!!!!
neat job getting it done, especially for the free lunch! 🥪 it is better to get the corn 🌽 but you can only harvest what is there! nice video you need to keep one tripod in your truck at all times the magnet base makes such a difference! especially being able tohave 2 hands free!
I do actually carry a tripod and a couple extra camera mounts in my truck the magnet base ones are very handy the clamp type work really well also if you have places to clamp them
LOL, back in the day.....late 70s early mid 80s, we used to ride "shotgun" down here in Fulton County as we were harvesting. Step out on the platform and take care of crop destroyers......
He plowed at her just real good so you get them corn stocks all worked in for your seed, dog for alfalfa or whatever you’re going to see it think is that a good idea?😮😅
i GUESS IF YOU ARE GOING TO PUT THAT FIELD IN HAY YOU MIGHT AS WELL GO Ahead AND WORK IT AND PLAT IT NOW. WAIT YOU WONT GET ANY HAY SHOULD IT TURN DRY.

Allis Chalmers 👍
yeah they were tough old combines for their time and still are tougher than a lot of the new ones
At least you got through it without breaking something or getting stuck. For us those little jobs end up blossoming into something more miserable
That's is true!
We use to have a bad problem with the geese at the Airport. When i was working over there . They were always on the runway .
Thanks for sharing. Always enjoy your videos.
Very enjoyable video always like seeing the M3 doing it's job great video thanks Brandon
Glad you enjoyed it
Excellent video Brandon :) & George :) also enjoyed your M3 Genlear combine and yes super won bet too!

Yes they definitely could get wealthy!!
Great video Brandon and George that is a bummer about the geese eating your corn
Nice camera work George!! Always enjoy seeing the old iron Brandon! The M3 looks mean with those black duels. Looks like good hay ground. 👍
Thanks

thank you and yes I will take care of them and preserve them they are still very useable machines!
Enjoyed watching.love them gleaners

Love your videos! The M3 is a treat to watch!
Glad you like them!
I made a few bald eagle decoys out of 3/4 plywood to keep them out of winter wheat and barley. Works great.
I think maybe big Piranhas or alligators in the pond would solve the problem of geese and be much quieter than swans 😂
That would work!
Swans wont keep geese away,, Here on Fish Lake the swans and geese hang out together..
Well are there different breeds of swans?
Thanks for sharing!!! See you later.
Thanks for watching!
Putting swans on the pond will not keep the geese away
We harvest corn by hand here in Romania 😂
Build an I-HOP... Canadian geese love maple syrup!
So... there IS such a thing as a free lunch after all!
depends on how you want to look at it lol

lol my grandma would throw a fit if I did that in this field plus this is considered city limits
its great to see the gleaner in action
In the 70s and early 80s out area had many Gleaners. Now very rare. Mostly Deere and some Case. Thought the Gleaners looked cool. Still do.
Put Geese in the Freezer, then they will not hurt the Corn😉
Need to get some hunters to take some of them cut down the numbers. As for swans keeping geese away I've seem nesting within 15 feet of each other.
We had a few guys hunting them and they got a few of em
I liked the Cleaner on tracks.
Then you will like the video I made last weekend!!
i seen someone take a propane set up that will go off at the time you want it to on a timer or manual trugger for it and sounds like a gun going off
A bird banger! I have seen them in magazines
Great vid! Gleaner M3 was my first machine back in the day. Wish i still has it. What size tires does it have with the dual setup?
If u get lunch order a big tenderloin! Ha!
Corn fed geese and deer taste great. Just saying. 😂😂😂
So good!
Swans (2) are the way to get rid of Geese. Geese will do anything to stay away from Swans
Bon appetite!! Nom nom
Check the pH. If it needs a little I'll have it applied the winter after I seed it. If it needs a lot i like to do it the crop year before.
I will do that!
Get a nuisance permit. U just said that. Shells cost more than worth trouble! Big sawns.
we got a permit one time and that worked well on another farm but my grandparents don't really want to see the geese harmed
He plowed at her just real good so you get them corn stocks all worked in for your seed, dog for alfalfa or whatever you’re going to see it think is that a good idea?😮😅
👍
Brandon did Maurer bin extinctions ever make a option for the M,L, or L2?
I've never seen any built by Maurer or Bish for a Gleaner bit I have seen some pretty nice homemade ones though
Roast corn fed goose 🤤
Oh well. It was definitely worth picking and made for an entertaining video regardless . A paycheck is a paycheck.
that is true!
Let my dad and my brother go over there
Ive ran many hour on gleaner combines
Sounds like you need a little 12 ga. resolution to your problem with geese?
i GUESS IF YOU ARE GOING TO PUT THAT FIELD IN HAY YOU MIGHT AS WELL GO Ahead AND WORK IT AND PLAT IT NOW. WAIT YOU WONT GET ANY HAY SHOULD IT TURN DRY.
👍🌟🌟🌟🎊🍷🍷
Run f2 on low ears
This is similar to Arnold Schwarzenegger, get to the Galena
🤣🤣
They actually got your high bid this time?
You will have to grow taller corn
