Great presentation. I like that it is not the cookie cutter design with fireplace etc. One of my biggest likes is the discussion on elements rarely discussed. Insulation, heating systems, water heater, kitchen sink functionality. The mechanical room explanation was excellent, people should really listen to this part, to me This is super important when I go looking at purchasing another home. Thank You.

I’m seeing comments made about these homes from people who don’t quite understand mid century modern aesthetic. Their feedback would essentially make the home a “contemporary” home like many other projects in the city. I understand the design choices made here and I wish more ppl understood as well. IYKYK right? Good job on these. Would love to see a bigger square feet on the next one.

Love the midcentury inspiration! great job guys! SO beautiful, would love to see more homes like this pop up all over Atlanta rather than those ugly big boxy "modern" homes! Great job, you guys get not only good design but functionality as well and that's what most people don't understand about midcentury homes.

Wole, Love the design in general especially the courtyard, high ceilings, quality kitchen counter/cabinets and light colored floors.
    HOWEVER….
    1. Please, Please, Please when you architects design houses; one (guests) shouldn’t be able to look directly into the master suite when seated at the kitchen counter/living room. I’d feel very uncomfortable having a guest look directly into our master bed room while in bed, if my wife opens the door to exit. Ask Nigerian parents and I’ll see what I mean. If anything the master and guest rooms should have been switched.
    2. A 2nd floor would have been more appealing, especially from a privacy/safety stand point in a neighborhood like this.
    3. No garage? Again looking at Apple Maps, the other houses in this neighboorhood, I would be concerned about car break ins. Also you’re trying to promote EV charging, I’d rather do that in a garage than dragging out a cord.
    4. Storage space seems lacking. Is there somewhere for a washer dryer? Storing cleaning supplies? Coat closet?
    5. Kitchen/bathroom faucets look a little gaudy. Modern Matte black fixtures would work better!!! And throw out that guest bath tub, In my opinion guest bathrooms should have showers and the bath can be in the master suite along with a shower.
It’s a good start otherwise. If the neighboorhood were better, I could see real traction here.

I like the house as is. Everyone has an opinion, I guess. I like his take on MCM.
