The nostalgia is real... I remember playing this version of Clue years ago when I was young but my family had to unfortunately give it up when we moved to a different state. I really want to replay it again someday, since it's still one of my all time favorite board games.
I have to be honest, I never thought that I’d see Cluedo DVD Game again! This is amazing! Note: Besides America, where they call it Clue, its original name from Britain is called Cluedo.
I played this at a friend's birthday party over ten years ago (except in our country, it's called Cluedo) and I still remember it. We all eliminated Professor Plum early because he and Lady Lavender were planning to go for a walk, but then we found out he'd disappeared because Lady Lavender was upset about it, so he was the murderer. Wish I'd had a chance to play this again.
I was thinking that they should take this game and post it interactively on a website. Run the original VCR game video and then have the clue cards be able to be clicked on. People could play it with other players interactively. They could also have a list of the 10 suspects, five weapons, and 5 rooms on the site for a person to drag and drop to the blanks to make an accusation. Would that all work?
I just bought it off Ebay. I think I spent around fifty dollars for a new copy. You might find a better deal. It is called Clue DVD. We have played two cases so far. It is a lot of fun.
