It would be great to do an outside disco with sound to lights in say the decking of a patio, wall mounted light panels sound to light, lasers , strobes and a large very large projector screen , now that would be fun.

I have 2x 96W par cans, 2x 70W moving heads, 6x 5W pinspots, 1x 10W moonflower, 4x 48W floods, 1x 108W strobe and 2 24W colourbars... all in LED, plus a 1500W smoke machine. Mostly QTX and Chauvet brand. What laser have you got? It's nice to see a multicoloured one like yours :-) Nicely wired up too, using those ceiling strips. I don't have the DIY skills for that, so my lights are just strewn on top of kitchen cupboards, coffee table, computer desk, fridge/freezer etc lol.

Awesome setup! I'm just starting to get into Disco Lighting for my home as a hobby -- my struggle is finding moving lights (derbys, mushrooms etc..) that don't also have a horribly loud motor. I picked up the ADJ Vertigo Hex and it is way too loud for home use. Any advice?
Joel Fieber, I am a designer of lighting fixtures...even the most expensive moving head make noise. The alternative are using fixed lamps (pars, lasers) or using higher volume.

Thank you! I haven´t seen either ;) Sure, I would start with a simple flash light like a mini-strobelight from showtec or similar brands. It depends on, what is affordable in your contry. If you would like to try more powerful stuff, you can check out the 1500 DMX power strobe from stairville or ADJ, but anyway its your choise which brand you like the most. For those fixtures you need a bigger room ( about 40m²). Handling with lasers needs safety first, so you need a high room and a control programm. I am not able to give you an reasonable advice here, because there are so many safety rules, I dont wont to write them down all... But good lasers for beginners are some from Laserworld or Starville even though those brands are going back from those words...
Is this software or a controller!? It has be software.. lol. but if you are using a controller how are you getting the laser perfectly synced with the music?? Pleeeeeaase respond lol
