Something Fields didn’t do was go 0-5 to end the season, go on back to back 3 & out drives, sometimes triple back to back drives for Russ, I can’t even stand watching him tbh just frustrating

If fields is our starter defenses will easily be able to strategize against him and he doesn’t have the ability to see the field and go through his reads… sorry that’s an easy one for me… but either way if he is our Qb I’ll wear his jersey and root for him. I’m not that fan that hates on our own…

We need both actually. Defenses are going to catch on eventually. Fields is a running qb for example who I don’t trust at starting cause of that problem of only running. I haven’t seen him throw a bomb down the field and he played 6 games.

Facts Justin Fields could’ve easily been 6-0 if the defense would’ve stopped Dak from driving down the field for a game winning TD and if Pickens didn’t fumble in the redzone vs Indy. Russ got worse every game losing 5 in a row.

Deke gives Justin Fields all the excuses. The offense was bad in the Cowboys game, look a the yards. But he blames the defense. Fields is the only QB that kept having fumble snap issues, but it's on Zach Frazier. Unbelievable.

Get a bunch of draft capital from TJ Watt, George Pickens, etc… Trade up to 1 to get Arch Manning. Look tank for a season and you have your franchise qb. I understand what Rooney said about Watt. But, I have seen enough tape on Arch to know he will have a great season.
I would go with Justin Fields or go for a trade to get someone like Josh Allen. Justin Fields would cost $12 to $15 million per year while Russell Wilson would cost $40 million per year. The Steelers could build around Fields easier than Wilson. However, if the Steelers want a big player someone like Josh Allen would be better than Russell Wilson. Fields and Allen are also 8-10 years younger than Wilson. It makes more sense to move away from Wilson.

Fields has proved he is NOT starter caliber. In Chicago and Pittsburgh, he could not consistently make downfield completions. Every playoff starting QB can consistently make downfield completions. Stop the Fields "pie on the sky" hopes and dreams. The Steelers should draft 2 QBs b/c they have 8 picks. Howard as the primary QB and Beck as secondary QB pick. Also, re-sign Harris and Warren for $20M/yr total. Its a great known combination and saves draft picks.
