Oboe player was less than satisfactory. He slowed down the entire section because he was not looking at the conductor for tempo.
Agreed. The Oboe player went rogue on his Conductor. But the Flautist and Saxophone section must have been high-fiving it once the curtain dropped. They sounded THAT good!
Oboist fingers probably frozen after the split note in first bar of solo
