Morning coffee and a “tug”…nothin better. To be honest, I’m diggin the coffee connection more than the Pale Ale. We need to find you a coffee sponsor!!
As much as I love watching tournament fishing, the mood when you go out and just fish for fun, that's what fishing to me is about. The whole mood catching dinks is still fun and not frustrating lol.
Threadfin shad. in that shallow slough. Thay get so thick down by the pumps they have a tanker truck that hauls them up by the Antioch bridge three times a day. On the east side of the bridge there's a two foot pipe that runs about seventy yards into the river. You can reach it with a long cast from the first benches east side of the pier. Or you can spot lock over the end of the pipe and Jig a spoon or white zoom fluke for a little while then drift with the tide over the school. The fish LMB & Stripers will be there every time. Just like someone rang a dinner bell.
I was thinking that those bass you caught in the shallows were there because, that's were the bait fish are ! ! ! Like they say , find the bait fish and usually you'll find the bass ... The Frye Guy..
Greg! A suggestion for you. They make a polarized lens cap for GoPros. I’ve seen it on other TH-cam fishing content. Works great for letting us viewers see the bass underwater. As always I appreciate and enjoy your content! Tight lines!
Great day out on the water & a beautiful day. I got out & caught a round 20 fish all no bigger then 12 inches I finally changed baits & then had no bits at all you would think eventually you’d catch a bigger one but definitely not the case.
Damn Greg your casts are on point! I would’ve left with a lot of cracked whopper ploppers. My lures be banging into them rocks instead or stuck on the shore line 😂
G.B. what a beautiful trip out on the Delta. That's a perfect day to enjoy all the fish you caught, the kayak, and just peacefu mother nature. Epic bro! 🌊 🛶 🎣
Dang man..Delta has turned into a private pond scenario in the last month or so!You have caugh ALOT of 12-14 inch bass..looks like a blast .. especially when you sneak in a good one and obviously know the monsters that lurk
Morning Greg, thanks for starting my morning on the water. The top water bite was exciting to watch with alot of bass being caught. Thanks for sharing another excellent video, you are the best!😊👍
He is the best! His attitude, his friendships, the music 🎶! I always look forward to seeing his videos! And I’m just a 60 year old grandma who used to be a “River Rat” when the Colorado was a quiet place my pops used to take me to when I was younger. Blue gill fishing on a raft with a stick👍🏼Oh the memories🥰
That rock line would have been an ideal time to throw a bigger wake bait. Something to weed out those small ones from hitting cause the big ones were likely right behind them off the shore.
A yes coffee ☕️ and Greg, what a great combo. Thank you Greg , that was a great morning of fishing. And I would have gone to IN And OUT Burger anyways lol.
The dead bait fish was a baby American Shad from the Sac, Feather, or American River. They disperse widely until the first rains send them to the ocean.
Can you do a follow up with a Fluke… this is one of the YAB homies asking. 😂 I watch these and I’m talking to the screen all the time saying: Fluke, please throw a Fluke Greg! Good video and tight lines man. 🇺🇸🎣🤙🏽
I'm so ready for the bass to turn on here, it has been a brutal summer fishing where i live...great video as always! I have said it several times but I really need to make a trip out to CA and fish the Delta and a few other spots! I have never been out west before, it looks completely different to what i'm used to...
Nothing beats a top water blow-up. Have you try the Jackall Riser Bait. The movement is like a fleeing bait fish. The jackall riser bait 008 is perfect for bass. My to go top water bait.
Hey Greg I have a real small aluminum and want to hit the delta. I’m sure you know of the yacht waves. What launch did you go from that I would be in an okay place for a smaller boat/kyack thanks Greg for the amazing videos alwaus look forward to them brother
Good stuff GB. Maybe you should start targeting bigger fish, that 90 size choppo and an underspin have never been known to generate better than average bites on the delta. It’s pretty simple out there, the same rotation of baits win most of the tourneys for a reason. If you’re catching rat after rat that’s probably not the area to be in at that time.
Totally agree! Sorta knew what I was in for with those baits but you're right, finding that specific bait that may not get bit as often but catches your better fish is the way to go to stand a chance in a tourney
Fun bite! I have noticed that you don’t seem to throw a buzz toad. Seems like that would be really good for throwing that close to the shore and it wouldn’t get wound up in the grass like a choppo would. I started using a rib it and a zman toad and had a blast with the top water bite this summer.
@@GregBlanchardFishing When you are fishing shallow, weedy areas; I think you will be well rewarded. I hope this suggestion helps you secure your position in the AOY! Tight lines!
Man, im jealous. I still haven't been able to get new pads and clips, so my roof rack will fit my new car. It's been a month since my accident. I just wanna get out on the water lol
And as a part of the coffee-drinking community good morning and we salute you!!
☕️ Cheers to my fellow caffeine lovers.
Cheers Brother!🫡
Cheers! ☕️
Cheers! ☕️🫡
I don't drink coffe but 🍺 cheers..
COME ON!
One of the best mornings you can have as an bass angler!
yessir!
I really like the way you break down your day at the end of your videos.
Spring and fall when the temp begins to change the bass hug the rocks for the warmth.
Here's to the just getting home from work and a cold beer peeps 🍻🍺
cheers🍺

totally. Mindset is completely different. Not that I don't like the tournament mindset but it's nice to change it up

Glad I’m not the only one that talks to my lures

haha whats up anthony. I'm not lying when I tell you a threw a fluke a handful of times this day, just no love on it.
Cheers with that dark roast boys!
Greg found a cheat code along that stretch of the bank lol
If you throw a fluke, I'm sure you'll catch a bass in almost every cast while fishing shallow. From 23:00-25:00 those areas looks so good to fish in 😃
Love that top water action.👍
ahh yes one of the best things to wake up to
"Sometimes it's just fun to have a great wack fest no matter what the size." We are still talking about fishing correct? 😂
Keep ‘em coming
I would love to see u throw the
Pompadour.
Here Here ☕️

Shade!
thought it was a striper boil lol
What’s better than topwater bites? Fun video
Greg you should do a video of all the back lashes and the non edited parts into a video
Great morning indeed Greg! Question for you, what is the graph in the upper right-hand corner of your fish finder?
Epic morning wow! You seem to do just fine without Forward Facing Sonar. Are you still considering it on the yak?
I love your content. I just bought a Pa14. What kind of Lanyards or tethers do you use to secure gear?
Nice! Rogue phone tether is the first and most important one.
Where are the giants Greg?
Great vid. Is this the North or south Delta?
Wondering what kayak your using
I thought you would be focused on Berryessa🤷♂️
I wonder if they eat the choppo like that then they would eat a buzz bait that good?
GB, random question. Do you ever get backlash or is it just the magic of editing that cleans those up?
you still havent tried weightless fluke. dead sticking and working it aggressively
7" Zoom Magnum Super Fluke, Pearl White
☕️
Greg, when was the drawing for the kayak giveaway?
Good morning GB! Have you tried to switch to BFS ?
First to the key!!!!!
Native didn't give you that titan x you used in florida?
Greg what goPros are you running quality look amazing
I think those baits are shads
Will you be at the food allergy tournament this year?
Hey where do you launch out off
☕️🎣🤙🏼
