    Excellent video. I spot with thermal and shoot with NV. Mr Ripley ably demonstrating how it should be done.

    Lovely shooting. The thermal spotter and IR scope combination is very effective. Hopefully the chicken numbers stay steady for a while. The .243 certainly hits hard.

    Hi mark love the content you give out and the knowledge you give. Question do you take any people out on a shoot if you do would love the opportunity to go with as an observer

      @@260rips Why?

    • @260rips
      @260rips 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@stephencarroll6014 I find it’s more user friendly and needs less messing around with than the 4K.
      The 4K seems to constantly need the ir adjusted to suit different distances. The hd is also a fair bit cheaper and the ir can be mounted on top rather than on the left of the 4K which for me as a left hander fouls the bolt lift!

    Shooting animals with thermal and nv isnt much sport i hunt plenty myself but give them a chance use a lamp

    • @260rips
      @260rips 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Foxes are still pretty smart creatures and even using such modern techniques can still be challenging! I do still on occasion use a lamp but there’s no doubt about it if you want to effectively control foxes then thermal and nv is a game changer.
