The exact starting time of the 24 solar terms may vary in different regions, but the daily lucky activities should be about the same. It's the earth vs. stars. Why does your assessment differ from Peter so man fung, the ‘most famous & accurate feng shui person from Hong Kong?’ Regarding West he suggests a rock. Other months I’ve noticed differences as well. This is frustrating & I don’t see a huge difference following either yet.
Do you do private readings or offer clilents feng shui support, or do you recommend someone who does? The only area I can put a desk is where my bed is, and I live in such a small home, I'm struggling with conflict at work and illness. I'm really at a loss of what options and solutions make sense.
Small space is harder than bigger space. You have to be very disciplined in organization and editing out outdated stuff. Not everyone can be a minimalist. If it is an old house, try to change the lighting with a new bulb that is brighter and has a pleasant color. We do have Feng Shui consultation on our website (picturehealer.com), but it might not help if you have limited space.

As we have a 7 1 2 combination in NE, many of them says that we need to add water element, colour to weeken the metal 7 star. Wath you say about that?

December 7 is the technical date, but we are aware that energy transitions happen gradually over time. There is some flexibility.
