Poor thing, he was only a child himself, abandoned by his father, and orphaned, but instead of hating on his brother (because of him, mama died) he actually loved and cared for him and practically brought him up like a parent. But he is also doing justice, and equally he is being restrained and didn't shout or get angry with Zulekha. He's the best, most well-written, layered character in this story, and Farhad did a great job playing this demanding and nuanced role.
The real game changer was Zulekha. She was the one who got Gulnar her much needed justice although I feel bad for Shahzaib because she's never on his side but Murad deserved what he got.
Zulekha has been the real Badshah Begum all throughout without being in contention for the gaddi. She is strong, selfless, just and open-minded despite her father's influence, and being someone brought up in Peerapur. Unlike Jahan Ara, who I love as a grey character, and Zara's acting is top-notch, but BB's only good action has been her decision to spare Gulnar's tongue in the earlier episodes. Otherwise, it's just one selfish decision after another. Murad abused Gulnar - no justice, save the family. Gulnar's fiance Tara - no justice, let's Murad's crimes go unpunished. As a man, Shahmir had more empathy and compassion than BB as a woman.

Even shahzaib why is he feeling so bad for his rapist and murderer brother who even misbehaved with him . Ye log kya gaadi gaadi ki baatein karte hai par khud ke ghar mein mujrim ko paal rakha tha. Even that rakim bi who got gulnar raped and did many crimes was getting respected by the family. Jahan ara did not do anything as badshah begum except giving lectures and romancing.And in the end they are randomly killing all positive characters.
Zulekha did what Badshah Begum could never do. Zulekha has come out to be such a good character better than the so called powerless Badshah Begum. She didn't even need to be Badshah Begum to give Gulnar Justice. Zulekha is the only strongest female character in the entire show.

Zulekha's characters has had some very powerful dialogues but the way she expresses them doesn't seem impactful.
She is in a better situation now as compared to before her marriage with Shahmeer. She has good family members like Badshah Begum and Zulekha, and respect for being Shahmeer's widow. Not to mention, she has managed to finally punish Murad.

I watched interview of the cast where Zulekha actress said that someone else was earlier casted in her role , but she didn’t mention who it was… I still wonder who it was they casted for her role .

You can't blame shah Alam for murad's actions. Yes his absence may have had an impact but there are countless children in this world that are orphaned at a young age and grow up and turn out just fine..nothing like Murad. He was an adult and knew exactly what he was doing. He's raped and killed people for his own selfish reasons. That is on him not his father. After a point parents can't be held responsible for children's actions as there are other factors that influence how a child turns out and what path they choose in later life. A classic example in this drama is zulekha. Look at how selfish her father is and zulekha is the complete opposite and decided to walk on a different path to that of her father. Would you credit her father for zulekha's choices? No because they are her own choices. Similarly Murad is to be blamed for his own actions. Hakim can be partly responsible as she raised him and somewhat shahzaib for failing to keep an eye on him and hiding his misdeeds. It's good he's finally done the correct thing and punished Murad thanks to his wife zulekha. Otherwise shahzaib wouldn't have punished Murad at all. Till the end he was trying to hide the fact that he raped gulnar.

Disagree.. shahmir and bakhtiyar were working on education the next generation and bringing about change as well. Jahanara changed a few norms I.e presenting the first excellent crop to badshah begum and cutting the tongue of the ghulaam. They were working but it was never going to happen overnight and then they also faced a lot of resistance from within and were fighting battles against half siblings etc.
