I've used baby oil as a release oil in a spray bottle...and it has worked in the plastic molds made for chocolates and in my silicone molds...both the colored molds and the clear silicone molds....
The gold and the white are perfection.... It almost looks like angel wings. I know you have to put a center to cover up the mess in the middle... but could you do white...so if it is off center it wouldn't be obvious???

You can use Pam as a release spray it works wonderfully and if you use a darker color with your Pearl x you would have been able to see your broom better it's the white with the white with white with the light Pearl x I've been doing this a while and dark with light shows better but you can use Pam it's cheaper and works fantastic

My husband and I went to the craft store and got some resin and molds and he is trying out doing some projects with me. He just really enjoyed watching your videos with me and now he is giving it a go. We find your videos relaxing. The thing I am dying to make is a chunk lamp like the ones from the 60’s and 70’s. I don’t know if spaghetti lamps and chunk lamps were resin or not. 🤔

I actually love the interference gold all over the bowl - it makes the pattern more muted. The deco pen around the centre also works very well - it's truly a beautiful piece!

Hey Jules I know this is an old video but silicone release spray is used for silicone moulds so that when you pour silicone into the silicone mould, it doesn’t stick. I leaned that in university when I did Special Fx for film and TV whilst making moulds and silicone prosthetics.
