I was very lucky to have met them years ago when I was in the US Army, in 2003 the war was kicking off and as to be expected, we were scared shitless at times, mostly of the unexpected. at 22yrs old we didn't know what we were about to get into. most of us survived, and some were chosen to make the ultimate sacrifice. the one thing that saved most of us, and really united us- no matter what country we were from- ....music. these early songs really helped to cool our nerves, and reflect. no matter what you might think about war in general, for sure it's hell. but we were doing what we thought was right for the world, not just our own country. sorry, but after a serious injury my brain was having a hard time remembering some of these classics. my only copy was lost somewhere, and until I heard this is had completely forgotten. thanks again...seriously, thank you. I can't wait to share this with my old friends and remember the good times..... thanks again. music unites us all......
