- I sailed on P&O Arcadia, by far my cheapest cruise to date! was it good value for money, and was it much different from the super expensive cruises?

The drone was kept out of sight at all times mate. Cruises are great for old men 🤣
We were on this cruise (first time cruisers). It was due to go to Zeebrugge (Belgium) not France (basically the same I know). We didn't bother getting off at Rotterdam and explored the ship instead. Biggest issue I think was the lack of staff in some areas (not opening the Neptune grill or the indian 'extra pay' restaurant and some random bar opening times) and you were either lucky, or not, when it came to how busy the belvedere was. The staff that were there were generally good (think we had one that definitely didn't want to be there). Thankfully our loo was fine but did see plenty of public toilets out of action. Stay honest :)
It sounds like a very similar experience! I think some of the food establishments are for people with the elite status or pinnacle club, can’t remember what it’s actually called!
Has it put you off cruising?
@@DansEscapades no - thankfully not. Biggest issues I really had were the entitled people that thought you were invisible and the lack of desserts lol. Pretty happy that a mid sized ship went through that kind of roughness and we don't feel sea sick. I do feel like I'm swaying still! For the price kind of couldn't complain too much. Thought embarkation and disembarkation was so easy.

We had the same issue with entitles people. The funny thing is the more expensive the cruise…. The less of them there are! We did one around Alaska and they were lovely!
How is Belgium basically the same as France? No wonder the UK left the EU!
Agree with you totally ,,we were on 12 days to the Arctic Circle,,
We encountered above Hurricane status , ship was on a tilt,,we were terrified,,we slept or should I say where awake dressed with our boots on,, never ever will we go on a ship again ,, we did fear for our lives x
Under £100 a night for an ensuite room and all your meals, laundry sports and gym facilities and entertainment included is a bargain. You can easily pay £80-100 a night on land and thats with no meals, no theatre, nothing included.

My fave cruise is Royal Caribbean, but they are a little more expensive.
Try any for your first, you will certainly get a feel if it’s for you or not

Cocktails price are same as town bar🍸 No proper entertainment even for 3 days I'd go stir crazy! thankfully no one decided to throw their 💩 around!
It felt like a longer cruise than it was mate! I’m not sure if it just needs a bit of a revamp.
But it was only 299 so i can’t complain really!
@@DansEscapades If you didn't have to pay extra for food that's steal price👍🏻 Spa looked worth the extra cost too.

The spa was lovely, for 45 quid it’s a steal like you said!
HORRENDOUS put us of cruising forever cold food toilets not working shows not good We where in above hurricaine statues absolutey teffified thoughr we where going to die
Got a very limited time in Tromso and Narvik we where 5days and nights on that ship
missed 1st on shore day buckers catcting dripping all
round the ship. We have evidence because we took
photos no compansarion for a holiday we couldnt go in the pool
of the relaxing spa tubs Board nothing hoppening 4 people in a pantomime A Joke
excuse the spelling please im in bed poorly it cost a lot of money on we thought would be fun 😅😅😅
It’s not great is it! I have had amazing experiences with royal Caribbean
