Gotta wrap the toilet paper around your fingers and nails. Also I’ve found that using the sides of my index finger for texting works great! Typing I use the tips of the nails instead of the pads of my fingers. I don’t have a sufficient way to explain the coin thing other than to say make a T with your dominant hand using index finger as the top of the T with the left side of the index touching the surface and then the thumb pad as the vertical line. Drag the thumb across the surface towards the coin and the the coin towards the index finger. Hook the coin under the edge of the nail and then lift! The soda also use the side of your thumb on the rounded corner of the tab gently lift. Repeat on each side until you can slide your thumb under the tab and then gently lift. Make sure the tab is facing you and the opening of the can facing outward to make it super easy. I’ve had 3 inch long nails for years now and rarely break them.
It's true though. I have only gotten acrylics a few times and they last a week tops before I take them off because my fingernails hurt and feel so heavy. Plus I just prefer having short nails.

As someone who has been getting nails for 25 years, and trained to do them professionally, I can say with whole confidence that any coins you drop, you must just admit, they are no longer your coins. the “trick” is to learn to use you finger tips and the top part of ur finger instead of ur nails to do everything. the best way to do it is to gradually increase ur nail length so u get used to the change gradually rather than immediately.

When i first got my contact lenses the opticians had to see me take them in and out of my eye by myself before i could leave. I had long acrylics and i had to rip them off with my teeth in the middle of vision express just so i could do it 😂
Use the pads on your two pointer fingers, one on either side of the lense, gently push together towards the middle and 'pinch' the lense out of your eye. Be careful, the sensation of pinching your eye jelly by mistake is vile

If you have long natural nails you adapt as they grow. You don't notice the length as it's so slow. I used to keep mine at about an inch (2.5cm)long over the tip of my finger, any longer would start to be painful. I tended to use my knuckles for most things. Back in the mid 1980s when I was a teenager, men felt it was ok to ask me how I m@sterb@ted with such long nails. I'm glad times have changed and that is NOT acceptable now!

I had very long nails since about 1970 because they grew so fast. Only for certain jobs did I cut them back. I was a huge Cher fan & loved hers. Then I learned they were acrylic! Somewhere in the early 80s I had cut mine back for a job that was over & made an appointment to get acrylics, same 2" I was used to. I couldn't do a damn thing, like zip my pants. Being summer I wore my suit & a Tshirt for a couple days until I got used to them again. I kept acrylic on them for the strength & how long my airbrushed designs or any manicure lasted. Fast forward to about 10 years ago I took them off & went natural for 8 years & tried the gel nails last year to let mine be stronger. Long as usual. Gel nails are the worst to remove for new sets & pretty or not, I've gone back to natural & short. Point being I could do ANYTHING with long nails, used my knuckle to dial phones & then side corner of my ring finger to type etc. on my cell. I still do it this way. It's only awkward when you get fresh sets, where there is a will, there is a way! Tip: Get a good nail brush & use it after every meal & trip to the bathroom. If you know, you know.

I have a friend I've known for 35yrs. Her nails have been very very long the whole time I've known her. Not as long as those but still look too difficult to do anything. She opens soft drink cans no worries, does immaculate make up & hair, she used to do her own acrylic nails, she used to work in retail on the cash registers for many years & was able to use her nails on the register, pick up coins /notes off the counter, she used to deliver car parts all over town to the mechanics (heavy & awkward), her hand writing was always perfect & her texting skills were to the point that the phone company she's with couldn't believe she had a full time job with the amount of texting she did all the time (back when they were buttons not touch screen) 🤣🤣🇦🇺💖
Once had a student with super long nails who brought along a couple of pencils with her to be able to type, and she was faster with those two pencils than I am with all 10 short-nailed fingers 🤷🏻♀️
Loool I got medium length gel nails when I was working at a kiosk. The soda thing always use something else to pop the tab up then u can grasp it and move it upwards. Take like a spoon or the handle of any silverware etc and lift up the tab and then u can open it. Coins if u can’t pick them up slide something else under them and then slide them in your fingers or hand.
I got my nails done before Christmas and I had them done too long. I ended up cutting them in less than a week and got them taken off a week later. Waste of money. I couldn't use my phone, wipe "down there",😊 putting clothes on my nails got caught, puttinga necklace or earrings on. Putting my moisturiser on was a nightmare. I dont know how people live with them😂

So funny. When you pick up a coin you spit on your thumb or finger and press on the coin to pick it up. I use a spoon to open a soda can’ top even when my nails are short. And I have no idea how people wipe themselves 😂😂😂 this was great. ❤☮️🖤

Was coming here to say the exact same thing!! I wet a finger and use it to pick up anything I can't "grasp". And I ALWAYS use a spoon to open any tab can!
I have lost my job a week and a half ago and these videos have been keeping me company through this stressful time while I'm sitting here and applying for work all day every day since - and as sad as this sounds they're so far the only thing that got a genuine belly laugh and smile out of me while I'm going through all this! I would break up the long days in front of my monitor with these and it honestly helped me keep motivated and provided some much needed serotonin release... Just got back from an interview so I'm treating myself to this one!

I have a friend I've known for 35yrs. Her nails have been very very long the whole time I've known her. Not as long as those but still look too difficult to do anything. She opens soft drink cans no worries, does immaculate make up & hair, she used to do her own acrylic nails, she used to work in retail on the cash registers for many years & was able to use her nails on the register, pick up coins /notes off the counter, she used to deliver car parts all over town to the mechanics (heavy & awkward), her hand writing was always perfect & her texting skills were to the point that the phone company she's with couldn't believe she had a full time job with the amount of texting she did all the time (back when they were buttons not touch screen) 🤣🤣🇦🇺💖

Loool I got medium length gel nails when I was working at a kiosk. First time someone paid cash afterwards I tried picking up the coins from the counter for like 20 seconds before the guy took pity on me and picked them back up and gave them to me instead, I was so embarrased🤣 I’ve only had my nails done that one time, they just annoyed me with how impractial they were😆

The soda thing always use something else to pop the tab up then u can grasp it and move it upwards. Take like a spoon or the handle of any silverware etc and lift up the tab and then u can open it. Coins if u can’t pick them up slide something else under them and then slide them in your fingers or hand.

I got my nails done before Christmas and I had them done too long. I ended up cutting them in less than a week and got them taken off a week later. Waste of money.
I couldn't use my phone, wipe "down there",😊 putting clothes on my nails got caught, puttinga necklace or earrings on. Putting my moisturiser on was a nightmare. I dont know how people live with them😂
