The hatchet in the beginning of this video is frequently called a contractor hatchet because it has the hatchet blade the nail removal and then a fully hardened hammer head on the rear side. They're fairly common and most aren't worth that much but there was some made by Plumb for the boy scouts and those sell for more than the standard Stanley or Craftsman.
Yea I found one of those boy scout ones before it was priced too high for me to flip but that's how I learned about them

My mother used a meat grinder for ground ring bologna with sweet pickle. Always ground a piece of soft white bread at the end to clean it out! Thanks for the memory and I’m glad to know they sell!

heh-heh...maybe you've got the "kavorka" in terms of people being magnetized to you when you shop. I will intentionally head down aisles that are empty---but if I linger and dawdle too long, all of a sudden I look up and I'm surrounded by people. Have to head off!!

That ooze is the food grade grease that lubricates the gears. Not an expert but that may mean the grease needs replacing. Also, when you test it, making sure it spins is not enough, you’ll need to turn it on the lowest setting and the light apply pressure with your hand to the attachment holder when it moves. It should knock your hand out of the way. If it clicks and stops spinning then you’ve got a gear stripped. Not an expert, just replaced a gear on my kitchen aid lol

Nothing irritates me more than people coming up and rubbing shoulder to shoulder with you at a thrift store. I usually let off a loud “exhale” and walk away, letting people know I’m not happy. It usually gets my point across.

Hi. I have been following you here on TH-cam and I like your videos. My mom used a metal grinder when I was growing up. And I have worked in Food Service during my Collage days at Dana College in Blair, NE, as well as later years. I've seen bigger mixers used to mix dough, etc. I am unemployed right now and am interested in becoming a reseller, myself.
I have tons of stuff in storage right now, including my comic books, which made several moves from apartment to apartment, being "kicked-out" a couple of times because of the "clutter!" I took very good care of the comics, bought them in the 1970's when I was in my 20's and working. I hate it when people call others, who have a lot of stuff---hoarders, etc! What do they call those who are collectors? "One person's trash..." I really like your videos!

someone left a hatchet like that in my driveway about 25 years ago, I cleaned it up, sharpened it and it's been serving me well since, a great tool.

I would suggest leaving the mixer in the original box, but of course set that box in a heavier box.

I pride myself on being extremely polite...especially since I am a large biker looking guy so its funny when that catches people off guard, but I will hold my ground against these weird personal space invader types. I will even start crowding them. the coof has made people lose all social skills in only 2 years time.

Hey. Don't laugh....I need a how to video....like basic....and not for reselling, I could never do what you do. Ready? How do I clip a GoPro or phone to the backpack clip you have listed? I thought that was so neat to try when my kids and I go hiking, but I can't get it set right.
The best clip that I use for the go pro is this one amzn.to/3LZfAIm Its the toughest and has the best clipping power - and i use a go pro 9 or 10. This is what I use on a cross body and it has never falling off or moved =)
Nice score I sold a Cuisinart food processor for parts commercial grade as well for $400 if it was complete it would’ve been closer to the six $700 mark 🎉😊

Your mixer doesn't come with the bowl, that is a important part.
it has the bowl and 4 mixing attachments and the little plaster shield that attaches to the top of the bowl. Im sorry if I didnt show that.

I don’t know if this has been asked but how do you ship a golf club? Do you make boxes or are there ones out there to buy in bulk? You sell a lot, so I figured you must have a good method. TIA.
I ship them in 4x4x48 boxes- if they are Single or sets I use that box and ship the ups.

Yea that was one of my big concerns that it was leaking some sort of oil or something - turns out pretty sure it was chocolate syrup - i agree on the low end i say 10 but should get 15 plus shipping =)

Hey Julian I got some Titleist golf balls today new in package three packs of three for $5 in Rock Hill South Carolina and when I comped them out somebody sold 4 3 packs for $245.

Meat grinder I have 4 paid 50c a Piece
If you've never shipped wall art before it's not as hard as you'd think. You just need some extra space and big sheets of cardboard to pull it off. It's not all pool noodles and crazy strategies. You mostly just wrap em in multiple layers of cardboard after a light bubble wrap.

HEY I SOLD A MIXER WITH OOZE ONCE AND IT RESULTED IN A COSTLY PARTIAL REFUND.
The grease inside has separated due to age. Open it up, clean out the existing grease, and repack the gears with new grease before you list it.
Long story short I got a KitchenAid that was oozing grease, cleaned it up, sold it, and then they received it covered in grease again. Had to give a partial refund to have them take it somewhere to get the grease repacked.

It wasn't grease. I opened it up and inside is clean. (I thought it was too) The bottom of the box was soaked also so I was thinking someone dropped it something like chocolate syrup on the machine. But awesome information on that.

@@beardedthriftmachine I still have a suspicion it is the oil. The inside can look clean because the oil leaked straight down into the box. I guarantee you this is why someone donated it. I'd go ahead and run the machine for 15-20 minutes straight (keep an eye on it) and see how warm it gets. If it gets really hot you know the oil is the issue. Also the heat will thin out any grease in the machine and make it easier to see any seepage.
It shouldn’t be clean inside, if you opened it up to the gears, it should be completely covered in grease. Thick nasty grease. That’s most definitely not chocolate. It’s grease. It was coming out of the pin that holds the head on the stand and the top where the gears presumably are. It’s not expensive or difficult to replace the grease. I had to remove huge clumps and save it and put it back in when I was done replacing the gear. Just trying to save you the hassle of a return on a huge expensive item.
