Yes in deed. I too had lot of technical faults with the device back then and sadly there was no international warranty. I even had to change the speaker unit after it failed to work within months. Quite unexpected things from Nokia at the time.
I'm proud that i still have it in same exact conditions....Very very durable phone except face and backplate will come apart... if fallen from much higher or thrown a little longer but only sometimes it does happen though it could easily clamp on again...😉
