In 4/4, during the "war downstairs," it seems to have slipped past you that Deuan was giving Pi a head rub. Something that Meen requested of him last week. Which, I think, is a subtle little clue he's thinking about Meen and/or that Meen's influence has already altered Deuan's behaviors. The subtitle translated Pi as saying "What I don't need right now is..." Now am I only the one who thinks that when you don't want something NOW, you'd say "Can we do this later?" or something like that. The phrase "what I don't need right now is...." is usually reserved for instances when you are searching for a polite way to say, "I don't ever want to be doing this thing..." In other words, I think Pi found it a weird thing for Deuan to be doin'. (Sorry.) Which again shows that Meen is in Duean's head.
I was also mad when Pi told Mork that he is going after Nan for real.I really thought Wan's presence would help Pi to realise his true feelings..but.. he misunderstood his sayings..so this episode was a bit sad for me..poor mork 😭
I think Pi has been stubborn since the beginning and all this is him still interpreting everything for his own narrative of still being in love with Nan. I think he is in love with the idea of love bc it’s not real and won’t hurt him again like with his past friends so denying Mork and his feelings back is a defense for him. I feel like it won’t be a sudden thing but a crashing realization when he feels he loses Mork

That novel is problematic. Even the author said she regret writing it. Even though at the end it was revealed that they are not biological related it is still wrong because by law they are siblings. If they make a series out of it it will be very very uncomfortable to watch.
But... does it have to be a literal adaptation? Can't they change it so that the boys are not 'related'? I mean, adaptations can changes things from the source material.

None of the brothers had a good ending in this episode: --Deuan should have felt more immediate remorse for his cavalier treatment of Meen. His character is dense for comedic relief---but he's also been shown to be quite empathetic. --Wan ought to have stormed out after his parents (apparently) dismissed the bf who traveled a LONG WAY to meet them. How do you not support your bf in that situation? (This objection could be mitigated by a later reveal of what transpired in "the war downstairs.") --Pi has doubled down on Meuang Nan, who gave him an unequivocal and clear rejection already. The writers are milking this pursuit for the drama, but at some point, chasing someone who has rejected you makes you either pathetic or a stalker. I hope the writers have Pi see the light soon--and don't plan to save it for the finale. --P.S. What I just said about Pi now also applies to Mork after this episode's ending.... Just saying
I personally think that the "war downstairs" wasn't that bad. And as much as I wanted their parents to accept the relationship, it's also not bad to give the parents some time to come in terms with the revelation, Wan acknowledges this too when he talked about the vaccine and the elders reaction to it. Wan has a very good relationship with his family, I'm sure that his boyfriend knows that, so in his case, I personally think he would rather win his S.O's parents approval than see them having bad blood with each other, and I'm pretty sure that Wan and his bf has already talked about what to do if ever the reaction of the family becomes unsure before they even left Hat Yai, with the way they are, they have worked out a plan on how to execute this coming out. Patience included.

The writers chose the most drama-inducing method for Wan's reveal. They also chose the description "war downstairs," not me. They described the aftermath of Wan's reveal as a "war," and then they had the bf leave--AND they chose not to reveal anything to the audience. Why leave that thread hanging? It didn't even come back in Ep 8, so why leave a situation ambiguous to the audience when you're not even going to milk the drama in the follow up episode? The scene implying a big confrontation just seems unnecessary, so far. In other words, my initial remark complained about Wan's behavior--but I am really questioning the writers. Did the writers make a choice consistent with the characters (about whom we make assumptions and guesses, but don't KNOW) or in the long term interest of plot logic? It holds together poorly. So far.
