Another powerful thing about Revamped Helcurt is that he can use his 1+2 combo twice. After you use the 1+2 combo, if the enemy is not dead or you want to chase another one, use Ultimate immediately, and then do another 1+2 combo. AKA "1+2+ULT+1+2".

One thing I forgot to mention is that you have to be careful when using this combo, otherwise it will be difficult for you to enter the Prowler State. If you cannot enter the Prowler State, this combo will be useless.

In my opinion, the removal of the silenced effect is a great balance.
His damage went up + his stealth, but the cost of survivability.
Also, his prowler state staying for even doing jungler is so op.

I think terrified effect is most annoying from this revamp. before it, usually you can counter helcurt by using sprint because silence and now you can't
i also wanna clarify for those players who are curious as to why his passive bar seems like it's split into two
the reason that's the case is because the small bar represents the duration you can terrify the enemies with his 1st skill when spotted
once you take too much time and the small bar is gone, you can no longer terrify enemies when spotted
hope this clarifies some people's thoughts🎉
1 sec of terrify does nothing and even when I terrify they move from place which fuck up my second skill

I faced helcurt for the first time today after is revamp. I can say he is very easy to cc and burst down without the cc silence passive.

thank you for mentioning Selena and Popol's traps. I played against a Helcurt yesterday using Selena and I just put traps in his jungle area during early game and I slowed down his jungling speed by deactivating his prowler state in the jungle.

his passive now is a bit similar to slark of DOTA 2 especially on extra movement speee and hp regen when not being seen by enemies.

The OP thing about him is the way he can detect enemies in bush i mean we all know how important map awareness is and with HCs ability to do that its basically like maphack
Basically, my playstyle. Because i notice, i dont recall as much. Being mymaun dyrroth has an enhanced basic attack self-healing passive, that probability where i got the habit of not recalling. With this helcurt, i won't need to recall.

The new revamped helcurt is awesome, It has its pros and cons.
Pros are you can check his passive if an enemy is hiding in a bush, also he can now easily burst opponents without needing to use his ultimate.
Cons on him is his now squishy to heavy cc heroes like ruby, guin, tig, barats, etc. Wish i could use him often in rank lmao.

He's great both as a Roamer and Jungler, personally I prefer him as the roamer. His damage is scary with Dire Hit, and he can just keep ganking since he has no mana and has a built-in Guardian Helmet. Also if you're using Roam Helcurt, use Execute for better securing our kills
No just use petrify for roam Helcurt. It is a versatile spell good for CC and stoping pesky ults like Odette and Claude. Besides, you shpuldn’t be killing as a roamer much, just give it to your allies unless your allies are braindead then sure take the kills instead

Basically its just the
Old Natalia: because of the passive that is running out you can detect the enemy just like the old Natalia when the circle is surrounding her have an enemy it will give her a this sign (!) that there is an enemy hero in that circle but hc is different and op because his spotted state is global to the enemy sigth so if you just see hc in the mini map it will trigger its spotted state no matter what
As a helcurt main, I can tell that there are many ways to counter helcurt without banning him in rank/draft pick, you have to go with a teammate and dont go alone, helcurt attacks lone heroes (marksman, mage, support, and other defenseless heroes), fighters, tanks, and other assassins are pretty strong against helcurt. If there is a helcurt on the enemy team, your team must have a hero that heals. Ambush the enemy team's farm with a teammate, helcurt rely on his retribution and equipment. Have a crowd control/ control hero on your team. And roam the map with a teammate, helcurt has a big advantage when hidden, exposing helcurt's hiding can also become a advantage on your team. Also, when on low health and the enemy helcurt is still alive, be aware, helcurt attacks out of nowhere. Moonton's cockroach became pretty strong

Yes but you need to charge your stingers everytime which lowers your damage if you build blade of heptaseas, this new version also helps him know whether or not the enemies are camping in bushes
The newer ones have auto detection enemies on bushes tho.

Is the new Helcurt worth banning? As a Helcurt main myself, it's a yes and no for me.
Yes: It depends on the team's composition. Helcurt can easily reach any squishy target he pleases thanks to these new adjustments, and he can easily escape if things go south.
No: As I said before, it depends on the team's composition. Karina is a mid counter for Helcurt because his 2nd skill counts as basic attack DMG, meaning her 1st skill will neutralize most of Helcurt's DMG. You could probably count Natalia as well, but as of right now, she's barely even able to burst a mage. Aside from that, Helcurt struggles greatly against a tanky team. He may be able to melt them down some basic attacks and 2nd skill, but his spotted state doesn't last long enough for that to happen, and just as Elgin said, you can counter him by having heroes that can automatically give vision.
Now that I think of it, he may be OP but not overly scary as long as your team have bunch of CCs (Diggie is always banned). All you have to do is survive his combo (counterbuild/spell), then counterattack.
See this is how Assassin should be Moonton. Stealthy, elusive and offers rewards opportunistic players rather than showoffs.
Not some spamming, CC immune, invincibility, unli dash bs.

@@MatRen_1 I'd take Helcurt because he's easier to balance. Just adjust damage numbers and durations would be enough to balance him out if necessary.
I mean look at Joy, she has been a headache due to her constant adjustments because she does too many things at once. Same goes for Nolan who literally got his ult purify removed in less than a month after his release.

Playing him right lets you do nutty stuff. I took him to exp lane on my 2nd match with him and ended up dropping 19 kills coz i was able to snowball by giving up lane to gank mm and mage, resulting in a gold gap between teams and it was smooth sailing from there. He isn't as useful as he used to be (not even a bit helpful) as his anti cc silence got removed and getting caught = death sentence. Overall, a solid assassin to target the back lines (might be a better roamer than assassin coz of his passive)

He can only be terrified. No silencing. Sun can ult and evade if he is good enuf. Also chasing u and killing is a little hard yes, but with clones and stuff, possible.
What I've found out is,he has very high mobility but his DMG is now lower he csnt clewr a lane with second,you have to use it 2 to claer it if you're not using basic attack,the old one could clear the lsne without much items with his old second
i think compared to natalia, aamon players (me) would feel even more at home with this new helcurt bc aamon's passive is also literally conceal, heal, and speed up
He gets alot of great things, in exchange he looses his only ability to silence the enemy. Basically he looses the ability to cc the enemy and no heroes are afraid of jumping him anymore because no more silence, but he doesn't need to recall and rely on ult anymore, and a sort of bush check passivem

I knew it. Inspired from Slark's passive and game mechanics
Helcurt is a lot more powerful now, the only drawback I feel is that he is now a more single target hero because of the terrify effect, because in the past if the enemy was silenced they would not spread like the current terrify effect (this happens if Helcurt blinks into the middle of the crowd)
As a helcurt main I can say that now it's time to shine🎉
Petrify was already pretty good on him, but he didn't really need it since he had silence
Now that the silence effect is gone, I personally feel like petrify is a must
Glad they removed his mana, and with his healing passive he doesn't ever have to recall
Well his playstyle is now similar to natalia which is hit and run, so you can get comfortable in using execute, but if you want more cc then sure
The only bad thing for me is the slight delay on the casting of his ulti, but overall I think his gameplay is even more fun now that he has new features.
its crazy to think that they gave helcurt a free guardian helmet (though not as powerful), free true invisibility (like miyas ult), AND a free inspire (spotted state boosts, not including the penetration)
Not just this, after some experimentations, he can now fit the roam role.

I literally carried a mythic lobby with 22 kills and 1 death along with securing every objectives💀

For some he is op, as i played him yesterday. But the problem is he can't join clash battles without proper coordination with teamates, he is very squishy like mm. Also his one priod weakness is any hero that can give vision, and the most effective counter is selena

His passive is crazy over powered. First a prowler state with auto regen, movement speed buff, infinite reducing cooldown of his first skill (the rotation is gonna be insanely fast). and when you got spotted you get more movement and attack speed buff. You can turn invisible when you kill someone (EACH KILL). And a auto stinger regeneration? ALL IN A PASSIVE? naur
pretty overpowered actually heal and cd alone are insane might get neferd in coming update
And you can actually abuse the extra attack speed and mov. speed by simultaneously hiding from the enemies vision, they should atleast put some cooldown on his passive
Now that they're done with Helcurt I hope they start working on either Zhask or Argus
To Nerf him:
- only recover 50% or 70% of his max hp
- increase the time enter his prowler state
- lower the damage enough to only kill squishy heros
Please dont remove any of the current passive, it so good.
The regeneration is just cherry in the top, hope he doesn't get nurfed too much in the future.
I actually used revamped helcurt in advance server before masha buff was made and he was super op but when masha came, i think this opness has reduced

I think you can counter hencurt with a fast assassin like saber or pro fanny. Since he won't be able to sinlance anyone anymore. And maybe supress like Franco now counter him
I love playing natalia. Yeah new helcurt is my favourite now. Old one is good but this one is better but at the cost of silence. I just got savage with him today.
Honestly i prefer the older version, for some reason his new ult is delayed, while with the old ult you could literally just press it and approach a mm with 1st and kill him, while now its quite delayed, maybe i am not used to it yet but this is coming from some with 1k match on helcurt ad with a win rate of 65%

He could survive nat or guin before with the silence passive. But now he’s so squishy and not as slippery lol
actually, terrify is better than silence, since not only do u disable skills, but also movement and basic attacks, but, it isn't like stun, so u might miss some of ur stingers while the enemy is moving because of terrify, and if u terrify multiple enemies, they'll spread apart, and that might cause u to miss some targets

And for Franco who will now no longer get his ult cancelled just from ulting Helcurt😂
So basically his passive is a combination of natalia and hilda without touching or even staying at any bush 😒
Like a bad version of Natalia invisibility passive but a buff and superior version of hilda passive. 😮💨
The reason why i compared it with Natalia passive is that unlike Natalia that enters invisibility, they both trigger a boost on damage or aftereffects when attacking an enemy when their passive is active.
The fact that Elgin used gun's summer skin is a refrence because they are coming back in the shop/sale😂

This gives Helcurt a passive bush scouting skill, too, doesn’t it? One minute, you’re in the jungle in prowler mode. The next, you enter spotted mode without seeing any enemies.

I disagree with aiming your 2nd skill, 1st skill is designed to put the enemy right into position. Just click 1st and 2nd in succession.
The only time you'll ever aim is when in normal state and you don't have terrify or when there's a group and you want to position you 2nd where it'll hit most of them.
Yeah i faced a hellcurt and it was scary i was using a nana and the hellcurt always pop my passive leaves me alone for a bit then uses ult 😭,also i think his ult is way darker than before like i couldn't even see a thing only my character

I cant say I like the new Helcurt cant say I dislike it either, The split Delay on his ultimate and his first and second skill feeling a bit heavy makes the hero feel foreign. Of course those feelings are going to fade after a few plays and Truthfully I'll probably like the new helcurt better after but still The Slight delay on his ult bothers me a lot for some reason. Also I feel like he's going to be extremely underrated for a few days or weeks until He starts being banned cause like me I assume the older players are going to need a few matches to get used to him, Especially people who's trying him out because of his revamp, They're most likely going to perform badly or at least mediocre so I think he wont land so heavily on the ban section but that's just my opinion

I've tried him in ranked game as jg.. shit's op, his mechanics is kinda the same with natalia, only difference is that he doesn't need to go home.. and.. I thought why not make him a roamer (like saber and natalia) due to his high mobility and his ability to Regen quickly after killing the damage dealer.. this may sound funny but I'll try it at classic first.. or maybe I'll go straight to rank game 😂
