Probably one of the better videos I seen on a line up. Great for people like me who are not familiar with the Klim lineup. I also liked it because Lukas tried each on and shows me the cut of each. Just got the Klim Induction, VERY impressed, most airflow I ever had in a jacket. Next up is Marrakesh for cooler desert nights. Thanks for video Lukas.
I had the Carlsbad, the goretex don’t work for tropical rains 😂 I was drenched. So now I wear only mesh so I dry up a lot quicker & not forgetting lighter. In the heat with extreme humidity Airflow is key
I have a Klim Dakar jacket, but after putting in the D3O back armor, venting is affected and gets a bit hot... i currently mix my BMW Rally jacket with Klim Badland pants (for venting reasons)... its a bit clashy, but I can't complain about the venting.
Why is Traverse left out almost every review? It is a super solid option (2016 version) for the price- goretex, great venting, great fit etc. What model pants are on the presenter?
@@manybikes I got mine in and a few short rides with it. Being able to store the rain jacket in the pouch and not my top case is awesome. I live in Louisiana so already tested that out. Much quicker. I'm getting Carlsbad pants though so I don't need to a separate rain pant. May be hotter but lower ventilation is not as critical as upper is.
I just bought a ktm 390 adventure and will mostly be on pavement and then take the occasional dirt and gravel roads where does a guy start with these jackets? So many options
@@Asdfghjkl1234 No. I ended up getting a KLIM tactical shirt which is an armored meshed (tight meshed) pullover. Wear it alone or under a jersey when hot.
I have klim overlander full armor , klim stowaway , klim inferno mid layer ,interested in the new dakar enduro jacket ,,currently i use a lightweight Fox enduro as you didnt make endure ,i also have a new acerbic MX1 jacket very nice italian cut ,very much like the americash ,to nice to get muddy off road,
Other than "casual", my Darien does all of this. (Whoever heard of a casual motorcycle crash? Fashion not crashin'? ). It's also repairable, customizable, comes in more colors and more sizes. It's made in America.
How is the Marrakesh for dual sport riding, and how would it hold up for a low speed tumble into the dirt? I like the idea of something with great range of motion.
I can’t answer your questions as I haven’t tumbled yet. But, I can tell you that the Marrakesh is a fantastic garment. The stretch is fantastic and since its made of 1000d cordura which is supposed to be as resistant to abrasion as leather, I’m sure it will hold up nicely. I also have the pants.
I ordered rain bottom from KLIM. I received an email that the item was shipped. They provided a shipping number without the shipping company name. I ran the number through all the companies that deliver to my area; and all indicated there they had no package in their system.I emailed KLIM and I got................CRICKETS!!!!!!!!...............No Reply.
What’s ‘casual’ about coming off your bike? Waxed cotton belongs on vintage enduro videos. Unless it’s backed with Kevlar it’s as useless as normal jeans.

I am a happy owner of a Dakar, Induction and now a Marrekesh jackets, as well as Dakar and Marrekesh pants. I love me some Klim Gear.
Love it. you guys should do a comparison between the xc lite, and dakar off-road gear some time. That old XR is a beast by the way.
Love your gear, I've had my induction for 3 years, still my go to hot weather jacket. I'm getting a Baja S4 some point this year.
The Baja S4 is AMAZING! I have made a couple videos on it thus far... I personally like it much better than my Induction. You won't be disappointed.

Nathan Willis awesome!
Which of these would best fit a tall slender build?

love your gear have a lattitude jacket but you dont make your cuffs big enough to make putting over thick winter gloves an easy operation.
what size is he wearing? preferred at the carlsbad
Do you have any advice for a waterproof, hot weather jacket that can be worn over a Leatt 5.5 chest protector?
Emmaus- I am looking for that same
Type jacket. Did you find one you recommend ?

Send me one of each in Medium and I’ll do my own research 😂
Have Marrakesh, it's great!
It's good for winter?
@deansmith7696 with a thermal layer, yes
Lower your prices holy crap.

Agreed. What a silly concept.
This had potential to be a great video, but it was too fast and skipped too many details.
If you want people to pronounce it properly you should add an e. Otherwise it's just klim.
Yes. Thank you, I'll take them.
