I wish the video went through how to report on the data etc. How I get reports of what needs correction, how I can prove it was corrected etc. This is very important information for auditors.
Excellent question, that makes sense to me. I don't believe that a comprehensive reporting capability exists currently on the tables that records are being certified in. I will try to find out if there is a plan or a workaround because I agree that it is important. In the meantime, you can generate reports off of the sn_cmdb_ws_dm_certification_task_to_document.list, which could get you pretty close.
Hi Ofer, Thanks for the great video. Just one question - any idea when you at the video timeframe 7:35 click "review records" then I get no content available instead of the fields that needs to be certified? Any idea about this?
Hi Andrers, I am really not sure about what you are seeing - were the records deleted? I have not seen such a behavior so if the issue persists and troubleshooting does not yield any resolution, please open a case with ServiceNow support.
Currently, no, but I definitely see the need for it. You can create your own custom table that relates the record ID, policy ID, user ID, date, and outcome. such a table does not exist. the closest table to your need is sn_cmdb_ws_dm_certification_task_to_document.list
Thanks for this video, its really helpful.

Great demonstration.
Does this use the old data certification workflow?
It is a new workflow that is part of the CMDB data manager
Do you have a video on certifying CMDB CI to CI relationships?
Usually data certification is used for non-discoverable data. CI relationships are discoverable.
Is there an easy way to add the date of certification and certifier's name to a CI record?

which version are you using? Is it Xanadu?
Washington Release. If you don't see what I am showing, you will need to update your CMDB Workspace plugin.
I don't have Certification as a policy type.
I updated CMDB Workspace and now I see it.
