He is probably one of the coolest monks to have touched so many hearts worldwide.
He got candid about his childhood, his monastic path, his sattvic diet, how he has evolved as a person to be able to help others, and what obstacles people face in today's fast-paced world.

Frankly speaking I don’t believe in all Guru sadhu sant baba but for sure I believe in this person. his intelligence , his knowledge , his wits , his sense of humour, his sensibility . "I don't believe in Sadhu" is fashionable term for absolute chutiya people.
Sant , Sadhu , Rishi , Muni , Guru , baba etc are different but connected through reaching self ecstasy.
Nobody cares if you don't believe in Saints and Monks. People are always obsessed by magic and miracles and are influenced by Charltons like Ram Rahim and Asarama and end up being non believers.

1st day with a monk is really a great thought.....
In 2019, I was going through a bad period and I came across Gaur Gopal Das Ji's videos and truly speaking he is the best mentor one can have. His wisdom have always helped me a lot.

about the part where he said that some Monks after 20 or so years went back to a corporate and family life. I bet the way they look at their corporate and family life is now so much more different than the time they were 20 years ago, before they were monks !! When I had visited Thailad some years ago, I was talking to some monks there who said that there are people who "Submit" themselves to monkhood for an year or so. They live in the monastery and go with other monks begging for alms , do ritualistic stuff, meditate, pray ect ect. This they consider as a kind of cleansing. when they go back to the regular life after spending an year with the monks, the entire perspective of life has changed. They are far more tolerant, far more sensitive, far more straight forward far more quieter and thoughtful of their actions. I guess we should all go thru "life of a monk" atleast for a short period of time in our lives to understand our own self, our minds and our priorities in life.

I am a Buddhist yet not a monk as i am not ready wholly, but small steps teaches me being urself .. yes i have long hairs again against monk's style but i believe ur attire doesn't make u a monk but dower does...(my version from the pages of Dhammapada)
