A race-to-7 double elimination bracket will reduce the field to 16 players who will then face single elimination, race to 9, to determine the champion.
Also taking place in Klagenfurt this week: the Predator WPA World 8-Ball Men’s Championship (17-22 October) and the Predator WPA World 10-Ball Junior Championships (19-22 October), which has divisions for Girls, Boys Under-19s and Boys Under-17s.

Siming chen Is the only female player with an 800 + Fargo rating That's insane but kudos to her. I like her. She's so humble, so respectful and is a sharp shooter. I wish nothing but the best for her
She was as high as 828 back prior to COVID! It dropped a little over the last few years due to fargos decay rate. She didn't travel due to covid and many of the events she played weren't Fargo rated. I'll bet we see her back in that 820+ range again if she resumes playing lots of ranked events. She's a crazy strong player.
797 was her highest rating in fargorate. That was in 2019. She had the same rating as Skyler Woodward in those days.

Wow Pia actually played great offensively here. She went wrong with a couple of missed kicks, a bad push out, and a bad positional choice leading to a missed 9-ball. She should have won this set! Hope she learns from it and practices more of the tactical side to limit crucial mistakes going forward.
