I look back at this band and wonder what could have and should have been. I said before on another video that I have had this album for ages and never get tired of it.

I used to have a friend with a tache and a mullet like that. He used handbrake turn his car around every corner too. His name was "Dai Evans" (I am sadly Welsh) Thank god the world has moved on...

This was the only guy I know in Thrash with that look. It was unique in Thrash.

Charly was heavily inspired by James Hetfield so hearing this cover was amazing🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

@@ShadovvV I can see where you're coming from. However, keep in mind though, that Charly's main inspiration was James Hetfield.

@@HCWz-_-Over9000 - True. I kinda view Charly Steinhauer as being like a European version of James Hetfield, but honestly, I think the writing of Paradox is far more classically mature or more refined. Groups like Metallica and Anthrax always seemed somewhat cheesy and generic to me, so while other metal enthusiasts in the US were into "the big four", I found myself gravitating towards German metal like Accept, Mekong Delta and Kreator because it seemed to have more naturalness to it. Even early American Death Metal seemed to have that raw mechanical feel to it, which I don't really care for that much. I think a good example of the more natural or traditional classical flow would be early work of the Swedish DM group Dismember. It just seemed more real or refined, again European for some reason. This is probably why I never liked groups like Pantera either. They just sounded too 'synchronized' to my ear. It didn't seem natural.

@@HCWz-_-Over9000 - Sorry about the repost, I revised my comment and then reposted it after your response. I'm aware that Charly is inspired by Metallica. Wise choice of words.. I would have never said "influenced" ! ;)
