Yes indeed he did, and sometimes after the bell. Norris has severe health issues nowadays, boxing is a very cruel sport. Fighters risk everything for little reward in their later years.
@@darrellcoutinho805 Agreed. In all good conscience, I'm trying to give it up, because I think it's immoral to derive pleasure from watching two guys potentially give each other brain damage, but every time I try and go cold turkey something like the Wilder-Fury fights come along and I'm sucked back in. Boxing is like a damn drug.
Still didn't learn his lesson after this fight because he kept doing it in later fights, but damn he was good and fought with a vicious reckless style and sometimes he boxed, Hall of Famer no doubt about it.💯
I agree, unfortunately he kept doing it but there's no questioning his superior skills. I miss him so much in boxing, he's better than all the present champions!
@@yuljohnson6838 , i miss those days aswell, you would only know if you was around them times. It was truly a great era. Then Mike Tyson came on the scene and wiped the floor with Trevor berbick, WOW. Then eventually lost to Buster Douglas in another truly great fight, we had Norris, Mcallum , Nunn, julian jackson , Toney, Benn, Eubanks etc. Then we had fighters like Azumah, Fenech, Holyfield, Michael Spinks, Camacho, Chavez and so on. @@nedsta1999 Definitely Hagler and Maccullum wouldve been an interesting contest with Hagler most likely being the winner. One thing for sure Hagler had a better chin than Norris and if they ever fought it wouldve been up to Norris to outbox Hagler to be able to neutralize Hagler's greater strength. terry norris was a dirty fighter, but had bad luck, too. a lot of fighters hit after bells, when down, behind the head... a lot of times. norris was dq'd three times on his first infraction.
Norris was an excellent boxer but he once he knocked an opponent down he was on them like a shark on a helpless seal. He had a ruthless streak in him and no one could get it out of him. He just loved hitting fighters when they were down.
Tom Hall Yeah he did. He even did that in training, he did it again and was disqualified, and then was disqualified in the rematch for the same thing. He was a very odd person.
Terry Norris should have been disqualified for hitting an opponent while down on the canvass, but he continued to do this illegal tactics all through his career.

Him on a recent video saying he was firm but fair 😂 he should have been disqualified for doing the same to Sugar Ray. Roy Jones lost in the same was quite rightly. It’s boxing not MMA.
norris was a dirty fighter, but also, joey curtis was a joke of a referee. check chris calvin vs. bret summers, and livingstone bramble vs. tyrone crwaley
Walker didn't fake getting punched in the back of the head when he was on the canvas. This was one of the worst violations you could see in the ring. Just awful.
Kobster 24 Did you not see Norris hit him while he was down? Now if you mean the great acting job by Walker AFTER he was hit, you are right. But there is nothing fake about the victory. Norris is a head case.
Norris had a tendency to hit fighters when they were down.
He did that to SRL

Norris was like Wolverine in Berserker Rage. Kill it until it don't move
Peter Gabriel has a song called 'no self control'. I often wonder how Norris would have done against a prime Peter Gabriel.
hard to call a dog off when they've tasted blood
PernellSaadMorales - thanks a million for posting this. Wow, the quality is amazing.
He also did this to sugar Ray Leonard.
That would be just fine in MMA. A lot of those guys are going to get CTE.
Lol damn. A rabbit punch on the ground.
I can't think of anything more pathetic than hitting an opponent while they're down..... cowardly
Agree!
that flop on to his back looked like acting to me.
Hey Pete watcha been doing the last eleven years?
Akron, Ohio was known as a common city for tomato cans. Jerry Holly was the exception.
Did Terry Norris run out of money for his hair cut?
Genuwine6799G a black man with a fade mullet lol
so you have a better carrer?or a better boxer?
just met Joe on campus...what an awesome guy!
Cool! Is he a teacher or student?
He hit him with that Lebron/Harden flop😂😂
Walker def got hit but damn give him an Oscar!
I just met Joe a few seconds ago!
did he say anything about terry norris ??
Yeah he just showed me the video and we had a nice chat
terry norris was a dirty fighter, but had bad luck, too. a lot of fighters hit after bells, when down, behind the head... a lot of times. norris was dq'd three times on his first infraction.
Norris was either dirty or highly impetuous.
I see him hit guys while on the floor on several occasions.
Like he just couldn't control himself..
PhflyDan1 They are fighting so I think the adrenaline just takes over sometimes, especially when your opponent is hurt
Mad cool dude
Norris DQis right decision
He should control/follow rules n regulations
The funny part was Walker acting like he did something

As if he thinking he is in a real fight.
Good call. Shame for Norris, he could have got an easy KO win right there.
Btw, Norris was an excellent fighter, amazing talent.
dam 12 years ago i didnt even have the internet then

Tom Hall Yeah he did. He even did that in training, he did it again and was disqualified, and then was disqualified in the rematch for the same thing. He was a very odd person.
@1975tooto dont u mean walker cus i think he does

Riddick Bowe did that to BUSTER MATHIS
Stupid reaction from Walker - talk about milking it for a DQ in.
Yeah that was wrong but that flop at the end,,,,Jesus…..Oscar worthy.
Today they take 1/2 a point for hitting, and 1/2 a point for kicking, but bitting is ok. 🤗

norris was a big puncher, but a bad finisher... for same reason as he got dq'd a lot... too overanxious.
Norris deserved the dq..but he had his man out big time...boxing is also part of discipline and he did not display that in this fight
Terry hitting him while he was down was not. Rather the guy could continue or not, he was cracked pretty good. Like I said horrible way to lose

Norris wasn’t shit when he had to face a real warrior. McCullen
Julian Jackson
Terry Norris eran muy sucio a varios les pagaba ya estando caídos.😮
Norris switched to mma mode) just misunderstood the rules probably, not his fault
Norristown did this same thing to sugar ray.
Norris wasn’t a bad guy out of the ring. I’m not sure why he couldn’t stop punching downed fighters.
Uh he beat up a whole baseball team. Not a good guy.
@@ckobo84 maybe it wasn’t a smart move to call him n--er

Esta tecnica de pegarle al contrario en el piso fue patentada por barrera, lo raro que a marco antonio no lo descalificaban...
Norris did the same in leonard fight he should have been dq then
以後もノリスはこの癖が治らなかったな。
Good call he dirty
Good decision for me.
強いんだけど余裕が無いんだろうなぁ。
On way to easily win and does that
Stupid referee should stay closer to fight....!!!
norris was known for this did it against sugar ray. but dude bad acting job he flopped after he was down, he wanted out of that fight. lol
Norris was a coward boxer, the same situation happened against Sugar Rar Leonard...
Something was off in Terry's head cause he lost by DQ like three times during his career...
Could have been more. He did it to Sugar Ray Leonard but wasn't DQ. He tried to do it in other fights but missed....
He did it to Donald Curry as well and got away with it. It should be a DQ every time, can't be allowed.
roy jones jr vs montell griffin griffin and walker both faked haha
Walker didn't fake getting punched in the back of the head when he was on the canvas. This was one of the worst violations you could see in the ring. Just awful.
WTF! That was a straight ground punch. And a little bit of acting.
