One thing to clarify is those who already graduated or are practicing after the mandate will be "grandfathered" and will be allowed to continue to practice. You will not need to go back to school.

I’m not an OT student yet, but in the US (or at least California) you can have a bachelors in any degree, doesn’t even have to be related to the field, and a masters in OT for entry level. But this is the first I’ve heard of a mandate requiring a doctorate so now I’m kinda struggling with my schooling choices 🥲
