i see that on the bass drum, you rest the beaters off the bass drum. I started drumming 4 months ago and I rest the beater on the drum. Is it better to learn to always rest the foot relaxed and not with the beater pressed against the drum?

Mich würde mal interessieren welche Schlagzeuger( oder drummer) Deine Vorbilder sind. Du kannst draufhauen wie Hellhammer, kannst aber auch locker spielen wie ein Charlie Watts, John "Bonzo" Bonham ist Dir mit Sicherheit auch kein unbekannter und Du hast die Präzision eines Nicko Mc Brain. Die Frage ist einfach nur aus reiner Neugier. LG aus NRW.

Ich glaube am meisten inspiriert hat mich Dany Carey von Tool. Er spielt einfach wahnsinnig kreativ und total präzise. Das mag ich bei ihm sehr, dass jeder Schlag durchdacht und gewollt ist. Bei vielen Bands sind die meisten fills oft mehr oder weniger improvisiert und vor allem live spielen sie alle Songs von Show zu Show immer etwas unterschiedlich. Bei manchen Songs/Bands passt es auch, bei manchen halt weniger.
Im Metal Bereich waren sehr prägend natürlich Dominator für sein Überschall Drumming und Hellhamer weil man bei ihm tatsächlich ständig eine Weiterentwicklung beobachten kann und er sich immer wieder neu zu erfinden versucht, aber auch Torturer zu seiner Belphegor Zeit, was einfach das tighteste war, was ich je gehört und gesehen habe.
