So you are correct, plugging the haze is what opens her den. ALSO! The reason why you still want to try to perfect block her attacks is because she debuffs you with nasty things when she hits you even if you block, particularly weakening your healing or damage, but perfect blocking means you won’t get the debuffs. Also, that glowing slime water is what gives her the lifesteal effect when she stands in it, so just stay far away from that pool and you’ll be fine, she’ll also heal from any explosions so keep her away from the falling shrooms or the egg she poops out and be absolutely sure not to use her own weapon against her.
I love that they practically brute forced their way through all the bosses, and this infected horror was the one who finally showed why they are Monster Hunters, preparation.
9:38 “she’s rather squishy”……. Oh you poor sweet summer child. Btw her “bomb” weapon isn’t a one and done. It’s an infinite bomb. You just keep throwing it. That’s why her armor has that skill.
To answer the question about if the burr weeds are new, a bit. They aren't there at the start of the game, but you've had them around a while. They start growing in the back yard once you plug the haze. The gas he used to try and suppress the fungus was a weed killer so now that it's stopped, weeds are starting to grow back in the yard.
The water in the Infected Brood mothers arena actually gives you a bunch of buffs... that increases crit damage and chance, at the cost of doubling the damage you take and increasing hunger drain and lowering your ability to block.
Sudden idea to add to this game, and I SWEAR this is going to make sense, from Total War, Warhammer. Add extra ingredients to food, to add even more buffs, or improve the existing buffs. Basically, in TW:W, one of the lords you can play as is Grom the Paunch and he has a unique gimmick where you gather ingredients from across the map and use them to cook meals which provide various temporary buffs to him and his army. (Like, “for the next 5 turns, Goblin Archers fire exploding arrows”) The set up aren’t recipes like in Grounded though, it’s pretty much just “Throw 2 ingredients into a pot for 2 buffs + some other buffs for the main “recipe” of what you made. But you can find ways to make the cooking pot bigger, which lets you add a 3rd and 4th ingredient. They don’t change the recipe which is determined by the 1st and 2nd ingredient, they just add two more buffs. Apply that to Grounded with the meals. There’s already add-ons for the smoothies which make THOSE buffs last longer, or give the characters some bonus HP, so why not give the option to customize and improve the meals?
You can get the pond moss without a tier 3 dagger, the spiny water fleas drop them! So you can make the wizard staves without having to fight the black widow! Pairing the wizard staves with one piece of moth armour and one regular broodmother piece is a really good and fun build to try out, Hope it helps!
do you guys remember that a full set of armour gives a set bonus..... wonder what Inf. Broodmother's set gives? and then there is the sets sleek bonus? do you want to know what those are? only one way to find out. also if you do end up going in that room with the bosses and java needed....make all the gear you want before doing so.
well done guys not sure how many times it did take you but well done she is a monster. playing solo the parry heal was the only thing that got me though it. though the harder versions is one thats just pure crazy
guys the fire ant nest is under the lawnmower also once you guys do the coffee maker which is called the javamatic that door will unlock and give you access to the Remix.r which lets you start new game plus and i personally recommend playing until you reach new game +4 because each time you start a new game plus the science shop will give new things to buy and you'll get new things
My favourite weapon i made for the infected broodmother fight is a minty tick machulihulihu or what ever its name it because of all the passive healing
🐟🦀🌙🐌🐢246 EPISODES SINCE THE FISH OR NOT FISH DOCUMENTARY PROMISE, NOW CONFIRMED FOR APRIL 2025! If it is not given to us by then, we shall shrink Josh down and force him to do meticulous research on all the new skills and equipment potential to ensure they don't miss being able to lob infinite explosions!
The infetced Broodmother feels way too familiar to a specific boss at the bottom of a certain Scadutree, if only she had a crit spot to stab before each phase shift 😅

"You're the hero we need!"
"I'm dead."
🤣

I love that they practically brute forced their way through all the bosses, and this infected horror was the one who finally showed why they are Monster Hunters, preparation.
True hunters
This fight was like if Vaal Hazak pulled a Gypceros when you went to loot it.
@@tregrenos8615 hahahah
14:51 She gives you her blessing to fight the demon
Praise Aphidite
Also, one more thing for you to check out before you go to the javamatic... Near the milk carton, there is a secret hidden...
Each level you clear feels like an accomplishment. Watching your gameplay gives me so much motivation to push myself.
9:38 “she’s rather squishy”……. Oh you poor sweet summer child.

4:56 “I don’t like that this ash looks like ash.”
Aphidite is the true hero we all need, she tanks attack after attack on this infected broodmother.

FINALLY, I've been waiting for this fight since forever
This fight was like if Vaal Hazak pulled a Gypceros when you went to loot it.
I want to know how these spider bosses look in there blob forms sounds funny to see them attack googly eyes spiders lol.
MY SHINY TEETH AND ME!!!!!! God did not expect a parody of that song haha

Broodmothers weapon is a reuseable bomb, yes.
Sudden idea to add to this game, and I SWEAR this is going to make sense, from Total War, Warhammer.

there won't be anymore updates

I like how far they've made it without turning on arachnophobia mode despite having visceral reactions to spiders.
This fight was like if Vaal Hazak pulled a Gypceros when you went to loot it.
Josh using sword and shield, that’s a surprise
5:32 Okay, instant thought was that either is or should be a mecha Kaiju boss
A fatal fungal infection is what’s wrong with it.
7:10 lol good job cotton...on starting the suffering.
14:30 This is pretty simple: What if all the 'basic' spiders were a single boss fight... that was infected with mushroom.
I still wish black widows could be infected.
well done guys not sure how many times it did take you but well done she is a monster.

Before you put the ingredients in the Javamatic you both should have the Acid Edge.
I just went full Wizard on them with the sour staff. I’d used that for all the MixRs since it’s pretty great at dealing with swarms.
My favourite weapon i made for the infected broodmother fight is a minty tick machulihulihu or what ever its name it because of all the passive healing
Next time the javamatic so basically the finale.
Maybe before that atleast take out a black widow fairly.
I recomend the acid edge.
That was a great hunt 😂
I love that I'm in the time zone where I wake up to these being posted
You missed the mutation she gave you called Spore Lord
18:39 a montange too?
Oh thats how you know its good and hard, they only did one for the regular one.
I've still not beat this boss on solo, but I also haven't tried in ages. Maybe it's time to give it another go.
Josh ignores she’s resistant to spicy and salty later doesn’t do much damage she’s not resistant to anything
didnt think his hunting habits would transfer to grounded
Wait, didn’t they not find the fire ant queen?
Nice job!!
For the love of aphiditi get y'all some sour weapons!
Did you try using the bombs in the arena or using your bombs against the boss.

Ther is no chance u whould beat most of the final bosses without the godly help of taht aphid it is so damn strong
2 men one videogame 😏
(Technically) 246 Proobs in and there's still no Fish or Not Fish Documentaru 🐟🦀🌙🐌🐢
Fish, Cotton, cheese, maybe fish, dog
@leilladragon1681 moon, robot, rabbit
14:49 you guys checked a guide?!!!
Understandable,i had to do the same from how bs it was.
246 proobs without the 🐟🐠🐟 or no 🐟🐠🐟 boc
the Infected Broodmother has *3 phases?!* if anything, SHE's the final boss, not Director Schmector!
This fight was like if Vaal Hazak pulled a Gypceros when you went to loot it.
Why does Cotton-Cam look higher quality then Josh-Cam?
Cotton might be the one hosting the multiplayer on grounded is spotty
Gotta get those high-def kill counts, whether it’s for or against Cotton. 🤣
I never even beat her. I tried so many times, but i can't perfect block and it just too hard.
This fight was like if Vaal Hazak pulled a Gypceros when you go to loot it.
Y'all be honest with us how many attempts did it take in total to kill it?
🎉🎉🎉
Someone should nor have eliminated the poison, so soon...
