By far Lincoln Hilton is my favorite piper he was the reason i started piping and the reason i kept piping even after my injury (broke my spine) i just pray he keeps doing what hes doing its magic
People like you, and they are few, make me want to sell my pipes, but eventually I realise its people like you that stop me doing that. Your talent is devastating. Please never stop. You fire up our souls. Mikey.
I AM LITERALLY IN LOVE WITH YOU. I'm a canadian highland dancer and just stumbled upon your account about two hours ago and have not been able to stop listening!
Awesome, Lincoln. I played at jam sessions for a few years as an amateur, but it is the pros like you that make the music come really alive, and inspire all of us to enjoy it from the heart. Keep it up! T.M.
that was superb - had me in tears - so haunting and ethereal!! Beautiful, thank you for sharing! When I see 'G Major', it reminds me of my grandfather, General Major George Vasey (WWII) who died 3 months before war ended in civilian plane crash, who incidentally, was of Scottish heritage. I will definitely be following you - well done - so creative and intelligent work.
I had the same situation but I had to wait 4 years for mine. But if it took me longer than that I would just give up piping or become a snare drummer or go to a different band.
For the ES Session Chanter...is it in A, B flat? Im looking at buying one as well. I have a McCallum Practice chanter but i love the sound of this one as well. :) thanks in advance!
The instruments look and sound like highland fluted that have the same fingering as a GHB practice chanter just different keys. Carbony Celtic Winds makes them in carbon fiber in different keys for sessions playing. And the pipets playing are not identical twins, it's the same guy just in a split screen. I've done it before. If you look closely, he's wearing the same watch on his left wrist at the same angle and has a wedding ring on in both sides of the video, plus his hair is the same. I've known many identical twins and there's always a little difference in their looks. Most don't really want to be identical to each other.
Connor Eckert its an aluminum chanter, it can be tuned in quitte some different ways, and it actually has quitte a nice and warm sound to it...i can even use it at my band practise where everyone else has a blackwood practise chanter
Lincoln and his identical twin are by far the best twins playing pipes right now amazing
Ben Foy they aren’t twins
@@mattcorr5857 At least quadruplets. If you got the whole litter together they could probably form a pipe band. Would love to see them live.
U can see the split in the middle meaning that they nit twins
@@ryancorr9504 No, really quadruplets. Here they are together. th-cam.com/video/RWXsXYrjqHU/w-d-xo.html
SuperGyre it’s just a simple edit. He is my teacher. You can see the split down the middle in this video
By far Lincoln Hilton is my favorite piper he was the reason i started piping and the reason i kept piping even after my injury (broke my spine) i just pray he keeps doing what hes doing its magic
Good luck with your injury .......... and your piping !!
I'm a snare drummer but you have inspired me to give the chanter and pipes a go
This statement is so true XD
Craig Shanks Yas, another one to the Dark Side, welcome, mouhahaha!
enjoy the next 20 years learning lol, ive been a piper in baghall for 22 years and cant play anything thats like a chanter lol i get so confused
@@ScottishThings chanter is easier than the pipes
how'd it go??

정말 감동적인 연주입니다~~
역시 아이리쉬 휘슬의 꽃은 로우 휘슬인듯 하네요~~^^
If I ever write the book I've got in my head, and that book becomes a film or TV series, I want this to be the opening credits song. This is epic
Don’t ever stop playing! Fantastic!
Calum Brown and Richat! Both rocks!

Wow. Amazing. I need to learn this!
Great arrangement makes me think of a mountain brook as it flows over rocks and twists and turns as it goes on its way...

For the ES Session Chanter...is it in A, B flat? Im looking at buying one as well. I have a McCallum Practice chanter but i love the sound of this one as well. :) thanks in advance!
