I usually don’t comment on videos before I have watched them in their entirety but, after only 45 mins or so into this, I just have to tell you how incredibly useful it is. I’m relatively new to DaVinci Resolve but have taken a deep dive into it over the past few months. I am definitely way past the beginner stage so I was reluctant to invest a lot of time in another beginner class. I have been jotting down some of your tips and now I have already filled a few pages with info. This is so well presented and clearly explained. How generous of you to offer such a comprehensive tutorial for free. This is something special and I’ll recommend it to everyone I know. Thank you so much and I’m looking forward to continuing to the end and, I’m sure, will return again and again.
Awesome! Thank you for leaving a comment and for checking out the video! I appreciate it. I’m happy to hear that you find it helpful, even though you’re not a beginner. If you have any questions, drop me a comment and I’ll try to help. 😁👍
i’ve been taking resolve seriously for nearly two years now. noob or not, i always walk away from content like this with something valuable. thank you.
This is just amazing and the first tute I'll point people in if they want to get an awesome intro to Davinci Resolve. I'll be coming back again and again. Thank you so much for the huge effort it would have taken to put together. 🙂
I enjoyed this long video and OMG what an amazing through instructional video Jason. I got so much from this particular video and especially the media and project files to where they are actually are. I know Ive had RED Media and now Im sure that now I wont have this issue anymore. Thanks So much for your exact instructions. Im a Visual Learner and this Video shows me much more albeit Im a good listener. Thanks so much Jason.. 🙂 Keep those videos coming please.
Thank you, the timing couldn't have been any better. I watched your Blue Yeti video yesterday and somewhere in it you mentioned you do Davinci tutorials, so I said "oh perfect let me sub and I will come back to this channel in the morning". Opened TH-cam and BAM there it was, a crash course for the exact software I downloaded and have no knowledge on how to use! Legit perfect timing, a sign really. I can't wait to dive into it! I am coming from Sony Vegas Pro, so I have basic knowledge on video editing, but DR has a TON more audio options in post, I am so excited!
Awesome, thanks so much for the sub! I hope you find the video helpful. If you have any questions, drop a comment and I'll help you or point you in the right direction. 😁👍
great tutorial dear jason ! i have a question do you have a tutorial of your where we can just make like head movement or neck moving in static images. i am unable to find or i don't know what is called in editing language
I'm not sure I know what you want to do, I'm sure there are fancy AI ways to do it, but maybe just make a copy of the clip, mask out the head, then keyframe the masked head to do what you want....🤔
Thank you for your amazing videos!! I'm not sure if it has been covered or not, but can anyone advise how to eliminate unwanted inhale sounds when recording? My mic is so sensitive it picks up every single inhale 🤭. Can Fairlight identify these repetitive sounds and eliminate them? Am I asking too much of this program?
You're welcome! If you have the Studio version, Voice Isolation will take care of it for you. If you don't, thry using the expander or gate to help make it less noticeable. I've got videos on all that stuff.
Great video!! Just 1 question, in after effects when editing a 3D clip , you can add 1 effect and cut it multiple times , how can you do that in fusion?
@JasonYadlovski I don't know abt anybody but I'm, lol! Jokes apart, surely people would join. I'm totally new to editing, so I don't really know abt DaVinci resolves server, lol!
@@JasonYadlovski Using DVR for ? 6 years , so I know some ( quite a lot ) Will not see 2 hours.... of - sometimes - basic - stuff. BUT.... It is really so good it is out there ALL the tutorial video's DVR. ( AND other subjects ) as a self learning person it is GREAT. In my hobby I do the same, teach for free. So money ( pricing ) is not a bump and kept as low as possible. I admire You and all who are sharing the knowledge. Who knows I still watch 2 hours...😄out of respect!!
@KarelZweefvlieger thanks for your reply! It is mostly basic stuff that people new to resolve or video editing would want to know. Hopefully you pick up a tip or two 😜 Doing my best to help people who need it. 😁 Thanks for checking out the video!

You can jump in the edit tab and make the cuts, that’s what I usually do.
📈!
😜👍
How abt making a discord server too? 👀
Do you think anybody would be interested in that? I know there’s already a DaVinci Resolve discord server out there that I’m a part of. 🤔

How did you become a Davinci Resolve trainer?
You have to pass several of the user exams and then take the train the trainer course and pass the exam for that as well.
@@JasonYadlovski Thank you for the information
Thanks, are you cool or are you the author of this program? Do you make it yourself? But thanks anyway!!!
I didn’t make davinci resolve but I did make this tutorial all by my self. 😜😁👍
