I actually think the fact the lyrics are more simplified means it’s easier to memorise and then you find yourself singing along. This makes it very engaging. Xx
Hi Georgina, I just feel you've misunderstood the entire concept of this entry. The song itself speas about liars in general, yes, but starting with the video clip, we are given examples of like body shaming at the very beginning where the mother asks the waitress to bring the daughter light food as she's pointing at her legs indicating she gained weight, then we have abuse where the man is grabbing the woman while walking. The liar could be anyone for any case. When it comes to the lyrics and the oh la la you're talking about, it's supposed to give the impression that "sh*it's about to go down" 😂 those la la's are kinda ironical for this song's case. Then for the chorus you're saying "take a look at yourself cause that's what you need to do" - she's talking to the other side (the liar) whoever that is, and not to herself.
I don’t mean to be petty but it’s rather annoying when you keep pausing the music video every few seconds. 😅 I value your input as a professional vocal coach but I’d also like to hear the song in proper sections followed by your reaction rather than tiny snippets.

It's typically used as a reaction to something unexpected or interesting.The fact that the dog reacted is something that should concern us. Yeah this one aint for me. Rhyming la-la-la with la-la-la in the first two lines is just too much personally. And we wont comment on her live vocals that came out..........
Probably the best song in eurovision this year. To bad it's a political contest and not really a musical one.. So i don't know if it will pass the semifinal.

Her voice is strong and stand out but I don't like vocal fry personally. The song beat and melody is very good. I wanted the la la la to be integral to the lyrics, but that was possiby language barrier? Like the premis of the lyrics. Not sure how well this will do just yet.

she has to cut the songs into pieces to avoid copyright, especially for Cyprus' entry
