With the extreme number of ill-informed people who had convinced themselves of his lies and doublespeak...I knew we were doomed. And the people so willing to vote against themselves are the biggest dangers to us all. But we'll get through it. I'm going to focus on doing what's best for me and those closest to me.

And I found out election eve that three close friends were some of them. For my own sake I had to end the relationship. They refused to understand why I felt so strongly and passionately. And were rejoicing on Wednesday morning in our group chat. My heart aches for this country and I’m terrified of what’s to come. But this only fires me up more. We cannot let him and the people who voted for him win. My brother reminded me facism breeds when we give up. ✊🏻
Yes lots of my friends were crying and had lots of anxiety. I had lots of anxiety the day of, when I saw the results, then I felt angry and had so many thoughts swirling in my head. It was a stressful week.

I am from Denmark and the entire country was just in shock hearing about the results from the US. Our prime minister even held a press conference immediately after to calm us down. I can’t imagine how it must be for all the amazing people in the US. I am very sorry and so worried about the future of the world.

I’ve been feeling sick for the past week. I’ve mainly felt angry and defeated. I’ve felt a lot of tension and like I can’t trust anyone anymore except for allies and most black people. The biggest disappointed for me was as a black woman always struggling with trust, it has completely traumatized me. I had felt I was called to worship in a cross cultural church but now I’m questioning every white person I see which even though unfair to the ones that did vote for her, it’s the one apple spoiling the entire bunch type of thing. I don’t know who to trust, who’s really a Christian because we absolutely are serving 2 different Gods. Character matters, humility matters, kindness, goodness, gentleness, self control….etc. When you voted for that person, it says to us black women you are complicit in everything he says, every vile thing he’s done and continues to do. It brought back memories of what my dad went through having being born in 1934. He said the same Christians would have church, pack a picnic and go watch a lynching on the town square of innocent made up charges. Kamala has worked in all 3 branches of the government and I know she and waltz would have worked well with everyone and created stability in the instability and craziness that he has caused in the last 10 years.
