Just a tip sis, fakaha'apai's are mostly made out of poly ribbon or ribbon that has a plastic slippery touch and is easy to fold. But besides that your fakaha'apai looks amazing!

But I moved to the States just before they started, including us younger ones to learn. The basics of weaving and making things. So, I missed out. But your videos help me so much, I'm truly grateful to you!

Just an fyi....the part of the Fakaha'apai that you skipped (it was the part that goes between the flowers and the base)....those are single slip knots that alternate direction. This was a nice tutorial, just another tip, fold the accordion a bit smaller, maybe around half an inch. It’ll look nicer and have a better 3D shape :). Cheers!
