It's early morning. I'm just sitting writing plans for the day. A few of these quiet pure forging videos have been playing in the background, it's great 🖤

Well done! I like that you kept the initial swelling of the set downs.

Good video. The best: no jingle, no backpipe.

Like watching you work, no need for talking. As always, your scroll work is perfection.

The set down between the snout and eye socket is savage, gives the face of the seahorse, its a seahorse in my mind, more depth, almost like cheek bone, very well done.

It's a very easy project, a few set downs, some tapering, fullering and scrolling. Some of the basics but get a cool project out of it at the end. Just messing about on the forge. Great warm up exercise.

Thanks mate! Love your videos and your style. I’ve just got into smithing and built my own forge. It’s kinda like an apprenticeship with you, except I don’t have to make you brews and sweep the floor! Thanks again mate :)

Cool little project! Good fundamentals practice and thinking ahead of keeping things proportional. Might do one of these at the next local hammer-in. Looking forward to whatever's up your sleeve next!

Watched your lesson over and over. Thought I'd use my limited skills and give it a try. Trouble is, didn't have any 25x6 so used 30x10 ... it's hard work for such a novice. Half way through, it's taking shape ... enjoying the challenge, thanks for the inspiration.

Looks a bit hungry(skinny) with no belly and his head is upturned not looking forwards. Otherwise, I like it. I draw and paint these. Perhaps one day I will beat one into steel.
