  • You can use an external #switch as a click method or many other different actions along with the eye gaze and #Hiru in your #iPad.
Fun fact: You can use both click methods simultaneously. Once you can perform dwell and click with your eyes, another time you can use the switch!
    How to connect:
    1. Check if your Bluetooth Switch is compatible with your iPad.
    2. Turn on Bluetooth on the iPad. Go to Settings - Bluetooth - toggle ON
    3. Turn on your switch.
    4. For the first time connecting you will need to most likely pair the device. In that case, press the Pair button on your switch and click on the name of your switch in the Bluetooth section of the iPad settings.
    4. Make sure that the switch is connected. Settings - Bluetooth - Name of your switch - says Connected
    5. Select the action that you wish the switch to perform
Go to Settings - Accessibility - Touch - Assistive Touch (make sure it is toggle ON) - Devices - Name of your switch - Customise additional buttons - At this moment physically click on your switch to select which switch should be customized - select your preferred action from the drop-down menu

Thanks, just what I was looking for ! But before my Blue2 switch appeared under the device list, I had to reset all my settings. I had been playing around a lot with accessibility settings, and the switch was probably used by some other function and could not be used as assistive touch device. it's working now 🙂
