Ep#23 of The Daniel Blair Show - Chase busted through the door that Jett left open and all of the sudden we got ourselves a championship on the line. In the 250 class of the Pro Motocross championship, Haiden told everyone he's been lifting.
Round 2 of the 2024 Pro Motocross series is in the books and now it's on to Round 2 at Thunder Valley where the pros will line up again and see if anyone can stop these guys.

I rate Chase's ride at second all time. Dungey on Suzuki at Southwick where he started just before the leaders came around. Most inspiring race ever

@LiverpoolFC658 do you have any other suggestions for a great ride ? Atleast within the last 15 years. I mean Webb isn't any faster than the guys Chase passed, Eli is never guaranteed to be fast and Ken is only a potential. The guys Chase passed are not slouches by any means

DB is one of the more insightful content creators out there. I appreciate him saying Chase’s ride from last to first will truly be judged by the rides he still has to make. If he wins the championship it’s the heroic ride we want it to be, if he doesn’t it’s just a cool ride that won’t get the attention it deserves.

Jett might be the highest skilled rider ever. I hope chase gets some confidence from that ride and lets it loose some more to make this season competitive. Theres no excuse for jett. He did it to himself. You gotta stay up to win and he went down. He doesnt much but that doesnt mean we give him his points back. Lets see how this thing goes.

Its all pissing into the wind , Jett will be back and dominate all over again when he back healthy , even if he misses a few races or rides injured a few rounds and doesnt get the usual 1-1 , he is only 20 , he will learn and still break all the records

No matter what Chase went from 40 to 1 and that has done been done much. It was an epic ride no doubt🤘
All bench racing and “what’s gonna happen” talk aside, Jett being buried in the points and having to send it, and Chase looking like he’s got his 2022 confidence back outdoors is going to provide some insane racing this summer

Please god let chase step it up. I don’t care who wins the championship as long as it comes down to the last round. Last year wasn’t exciting. The 250 class was the best part of last season.

There's a lot of super fast riders that won't ever make it in the big leagues because of wavering focus/staying on a moving bike. We saw everyone, including myself, saying no one could beat Jett last MX Season. In retrospect, Chase was fast enough to beat Jett more often, but he had too many unplanned, unexpected forward momentum breaks. Still think Jett will take it all the way, but, l the pressure is mounting.
I believe that either one of these are capable of making mistakes for they will both have to ride in the danger zone to beat the other and starts will play a big part in the end go getem boys.
Bummed that Marchbanks is moving, if Masterpool doesnt get factory maybe ClubMX will get him on the podium.
The only time anyone else will ever win a 450 race is when Jett is injured lol
Chase has to beat Jett heads up, twice, and we may start believing. -And the next two wounded Jett races dont count.
100%. People out here acting like chase didn't get beat 24 races in a row.. he finally wins one race because jett went down, now they think chase is the best to ever do it.
If you expect Jett to not win the next two rounds then how could you expect him to win the championship. IMO he has to bounce back and at least get the overall this weekend or next weekend or the championship is going to be too far out of reach. So I’d say if you don’t count the next two rounds as heads up, then you already believe in chase winning the championship
Nah the only important thing is the championship. Chase has lost championships by going down too much before. Jett doesn't get a pass on points cuz it's him that went down. Jett did it to himself and chase needs to capitalize. A big part of racing is not going down and chase knows that all too well. No exceptions for Jett who very well may be the greatest skilled rider ever.
I agree with you Chase still needs to beat Jett straight up, which I don’t think he’s done EVER, maybe Charlotte SMX? But I will say that people forget Chase missed all the nationals between Pala and Red Bud last year, and tons of seat time. Jett was in domination mode when Chase came back and Chase eventually got on the pace but could never get past him. I personally think last year would’ve been different if Chase never missed that time, but like I said, I agree Chase still has to prove he can beat Jett straight up. Last Saturday was a hero ride tho no matter what

Soooo can we talk about the fact that there's supposed to be thunderstorms at thunder valley from Friday-Tuesday. It looks like it will at least very a mudder but what about lightning and the race getting postponed?
We don't generally get much rain during t-storm season in CO, so likely not a mudder. Delays are definitely a possibility, tho.

KTM made sure that obstacle disappeared. Doubt make it sound like it was just track officials, kTM went to Davey Coombs after kTM voiced concerns of too much speed and it may be to dangerous.

This is Chase's chance to stop the Lawrence domination and inspire a few opportunistic riders while Jett is not 100%.
Hunter is going to help Sexton gap Jett and hopefully Cooper keeps progressing good throughout the season. 🤘
KTM needs to stop complaining & asking for track changes because there riders can’t do what Jett does. They did it during SX, same at Pala with the quad & last at Hangtown.

I mean the only time Jett has been beaten in outdoors is because he crashed and isn’t healthy. The only reason the Supercross championship was close was because he got ran through otherwise it wouldn’t have been close.
I wanted Tomac to beat Chase , I wanted a race with Jett ,BUT don't over look the boy will also Rise again.Jetts the best thing to happen to the series (and I only Just realised it of late last weekend ).

Jett would have been managing his lead, and increased his lead once he learned of Chase coming through the pack.
Point is still mostly valid.. but 24 motos without using an obstacle to gain an advantage? That’s way off.. there’s been several races where he gains all his advantage in just one section alone … where he’s doing a line nobody else is… only have to look back to Pala to see that .. JT even pointed that out in the broadcast saying it’s his MO

so whats up with KTM protesting the jump that Jett crashed on? they shaved it after qualifying and is why he crashed
jett and haiden were the only ones doing that jump in qualifying, it was a safety issue, so they shaved down the lip, everyone knew it, including jett, but he still sent it

@@doglover136_ so KTM complained cause both of their guys couldn't do what the points leaders in both classes could do, lol no one was making anyone do that jump, same at Fox raceway but yet they complained cause Tom and Chase could not do what Haiden and Jett was doing and they then changed the track both weeks. lol KTM are a bunch of crying babies, snowflakes if you will

I watch hundreds of youtube vids a week. This one is the one I look forward to most.
Daniel is the most comfortable guy on live TV. This show would be better off the cuff. Its hard to listen to him read script it sounds so rehearsed.
Chase crashes early then crashes again thinking he can go beastmode again on a harder track. Jett goes 1-1, and the last to first doesn't matter going forward imo.
Really, chase was running pretty fast lap times, but nothing insanely faster than what people were running at the beginning. He just held consistent where many of the others literally slowed by 10-15s per lap
Deegan is a Stud for sure to take a hit like he did and jump up and finish 2nd .
