Yeah I don’t like it that much. I definitely don’t see how it’s the best. The movie is called Godzilla yet the main character or characters don’t include Godzilla. Godzilla is reduced to an evil psychopath side character. They said that Godzilla was a natural disaster or something like that but it just randomly shows up actively attacks the city and kills people then just walks away when it’s had enough. Natural disaster aren’t like that there is always a reason for a natural disaster but there is no reason for Godzilla to attack. There are no monsters to fight so why does Godzilla appear what’s the reason. Plus the way Godzilla looks in this movie just seems odd to me. I am not trying to persuade anyone into believing what I believe I am just telling you what I feel about it, if you like it that’s great and if you don’t that’s fine also. Keep in mind that I haven’t seen the movie and part of the reason is for what I have already seen with trailers.

I am an avid Godzilla fan, l am biased.. I have to say how excellent this movie is. It is an achievement. The emotional punch of this movie is solid. The Academy Award and other awards it received were well deserved. There is a black and white version of this movie. Worth your time. Enjoy if you get a chance to see this.

I just watched Godzilla Minus One, what an amazing movie simply because you don't have no token annoying black actor, no he/she they/them nonsense, no rainbow colored pathetic characters. It was a movie about how the Japanese dealt with a huge monster, compared to the Hollywood crap they are rolling out, it's a classic. The latest American Godzilla movies are a joke and sad representation to the brand. there's no DEI bull crap just over the top acting, and that is fine. Godzilla X Kong is such a joke.
They got the name of the town wrong it wasn't Shinigawa it was Ginza that Godzilla attacked and devestated resulting in the deaths and injuries over 30,000 and 20,000 homes destroyed just not only using his tail,jaws and claws but his immensely powerful Atomic Breath that nearly leveled the entire city as the shockwave from the attack completely destroyed several buildings in an instant.

First movie I went to paying full price saw the movie just before Xmas was blown away good story line likable characters and the Nuclear spawned lizard makes appearances. after seeing the movie big $100Million plus movies no longer impress me after learning it cost $10-15Million to make Godzilla, minus One .
Godzilla was just as much a victim of nuclear weapons as japan was, he was just minding his own business and then he got nuked, further more I belive that that has a lot to do with intricates of Japanese culture that I am far to white to try to explain.
Yes imagine if shikishima had to fight the transformed noriko with shikishima having to fight a new war inside him and he has to kill her but he can't because he loves her at the same time and there is no cure for noriko and shikishima still has to raise akikko and at the same time the transformed noriko it ends up destroying Tokyo and kills his friends noda kid and that other guy and shikishima needs revenge but it's to hard to kill the transformed noriko because he loves her to much
