The first thing God calls us to is not preaching, prophesying. The first thing God calls us to is a closer walk with Him. I don't want my situation to be better. I want to be better. If I'm better, I can deal with my situation. Are my motives pure? Is my heart in the right place? Am I only asking for the blessings? For natural and carnal things? Or am I truly in love with the Lord? Am I here for what He can give me or am I really here for God? Am I walking this walk for what He can give me or for who He is to me? I have to take an inventory of myself. We can't allow the circumstances, the trials, to draw us away from the Lord but draw us TO Him. We have to do whatever it takes to draw closer to God. It will not happen by accident. Sin is a separator. We have to come out of sin to get to God.

This is why Satan has stolen Discipleship away from the church, so the church won't be taught how to live in holiness and be a light to the world. We must do it the way Jesus did it or we will lose ground. We must ask Jesus to forgive us for short cuts and for allowing Satan to steal from us! Discipleship will help many of the things the Apostle is complaining about.
Precious Pastor I sincerely hope you are not preaching 1-1/2 hour messages often, maybe it's just because you're doing a video. Although you're young and strong I don't want you to wear yourself down so soon, not to mention your audience. You have a lot to say but can you give it in smaller doses? After all you will be preaching for a long time. If you regularly do long messages like this you might consider and be mindful of your seniors. Blessings, Concerned
