Superb Podcast Chander ! Your persistence to get him on the Podcast is indeed great, because this rightfully joins the long and elite list of the best I❤️ARR Podcasts ! It's phenomenal how someone senior to ARR still manages to remain grounded, seek inspiration from him and still manages to stay relevant and unique. I'm going to have a second go at this podcast, the energy of UnniMenon Sir & you Chander is truly amazing and I guess there is still something left for me to absorb...
1 am IST and I realise that I had started to watch this podcast for 5-10 mins and then continue the next day; but the sincerity and honesty and niceness of the guest and the host had me hooked for the entire one hour :) Beautiful conversation, and took us back to many nostalgic songs. This weekend is going to be a Unni Menon weekend. Even though he seems to be a rather quiet and introvert himself, he was excited to share all his experiences, and eagerly towards the end he checks some notes and reminds of Kadhal Kaditham from Jodi.. :) What a mesmerising voice he has, even today; and a wonderful human being. Unni sir starting as a track singer and then singing some of the most beautiful songs for ARR….that’s an amazing story in itself! The Roja track was just magic! The music and even the cinematography is still fresh in mind. He came across as a very friendly and cheerful guy! I loved it when he started asking Chander questions in the start. 😁 Absolutely loved his stories and what a great quality vocals he still has ! Great podcast …one of the best in the series ! Thanks Chander for this .

Porale ponnuthayi is one of my favorites. I didn't know the Gurus of peace song was an adaptation of that song. I realized it after you guys mentioned it. Changing the tempo made it sound a totally different song. Great podcast
I am happy that I could watch it atleast now. This is supercool. The very first thing is first time saw someone asking so many questions to Chander. Haha! We can also feel his emotions of hearing puthuvellai mazhai first in the car. Its funny how he describes the late night recordings. Your questions were nice esp about ARR discussing about the previous songs.. and his answer 😅. The whole podcast is worth a deep listen! Enjoyed it so much!!
