I got to thinking, how perfectly would the Uncharted series and the Tomb Raider series mesh together? They're both set in the same real world and have an almost exactly similar style of 3D character animation. Nathan Drake and Lara Croft are like a match made treasure hunting/history making/ruin plundering/non-realistic platforming heaven and I can't stop thinking what kind of magnificent hell the two of them can raise together. Nate and Lara both learn of some kind of other-worldly treasure in some awesome unexplored dangerous place the likes of which the mind kind only dream of, and they both set out to do what they do best. They get there, they meet, they encounter some kind of evil threat that's way above anything either of them have ever dealt with before and they have to lock arms and be the ultimate duo of awesomeness to overcome this great challenge. They run, jump, shoot, and solve all kinds of puzzels together that both of their franchises have been known for for years. Plus the way they would interact with each other would be so fun, Nate being the cocky smart-ass tough guy that he is and Lara the sassy head-strong badass heroine that she is, imagine the kind of back-and-forth dialog that would go on between them. Plus they're both super smart and know when to buckle down and get serious when it really matters and they've both proven time and time again that there's nothing they can't overcome. There's some unbelievable potential here for a game that can be soooooo cool. Thoughts?
thanks for agreeing with me! I'm sure they'll work together eventually in time where they'd have something in mind the fans would wanna see with 2 icons making a crossover in a game where it becomes a classic.
Aww, nicely done, though I would take it a step further and actually have them hook up and make out at the end. Nate and Lara were tailor-made for each other. If any male game character truly deserves Lara, it's Nate, he could be the man she always wanted (think the "cute boys" bit from Sam's journal concerning Lara), but never had, a man who loves adventuring caves/ruins with her and who risks life and limb for her. Plus, could you imagine the dialog these 2 would have? The cocky, smart-ass Nate is vs. the strong, level-headed chick that is Lara, not to mention they're both badasses. Perfect pairing IMO.

I was thinking the same thing the other day! It's almost as if Chloe was actually a tribute character to Lara Croft. I think its hard not to imagine what it would be like if Lara and Nate met as they're from such similar games. They would work amazingly well in a crossover game.

The theme of this video was exploring how both alike and different Lara and Nate actually are. My headcanon: Lara met Nate a long time ago and fell for his confidence and passion for adventuring. After a dream where Nate saved her , she was convinced that to get his complete devotion, she would play the damsel more. This didn't work as Nate often needed saving himself, and was a notorious womaniser and was obsessed with wealth. She tired of his rercklessness and left him in a random prison. :)
Sam? Sam is Lara's best friend in the new Tomb Raider. She went to university with Lara and joins her on her expedition as a camerawoman/filmaker. She is shipwrecked on the island with the rest of the crew and later gets kidnapped. Lara spends the rest of the game trying to find and rescue her.
