It doesn’t really matter whether the weather is a monsoon or not - it feels like summer all the time.
There is conventional rain here. So, what helps is a UV umbrella for BOTH sun and rain. A poncho is great for those who like the outdoors but poncho doesn’t help in the sun. Umbrella, it is. Make sure to get the UV one.
Everything can be bought here. :) If you need something at a normal price, find the large chain stores like Fairprice Finest at Jewel, Decathlon at Orchard Road.

Survival tip for Singapore: buy a rechargeable handheld fan and bring it with you everywhere. It’s a lifesaver when living in the tropics. You’ll get a good one for 10-15 SGD and it makes any outdoor activity more pleasurable. And best of all, people find it funny - excellent conversation starter 😄🤭

When you visit SG, pack Ts and burmudas/shorts, slippers and sneakers.
O, for food do visit Lau Pa Sat in the evening (when it’s not raining as food is by the roadside), must try food - Satay/BBQ Prawns and squids, garlic naan and beer 🍻 - go with a bunch of friends to enjoy the full vibe - then you can walk along Marina Boulevard and Fullerton Road where you can catch a good view of the Marina Bay Sands and the surrounding around - rather beautiful.

I wear a proper outfit to board and disembark the plane, then once the seat belt sign turns off head to the bathroom to change into something more comfortable like a tracksuit set, and change back into the proper outfit before landing.

Yes Connor welcome to all year-round summer countries 😂you can just wear T Shirt every day and jeans may be too hot too unless those that have a lighter material. I am serious. Yes Chili crab is famous in Singapore when eating it together with some fried bun. Ok not all spicy but it has a sweet and spicy taste to it. Must try. Go to those hawkers' stalls and try on those food. Thanks for sharing, just reminded me i may also need a small suitcase for my trip to Japan in October. At first i am just thinking of the hand carry Longchamp but if i buy luxury stuff, i can put it in the suitcase which will not crush the item. Hahah yeah i am inpatient too with iodic drivers who does things thinking they are the only road user which can also cause accident. Look forward to your vlog 🤗🤩

It depends on the holiday, probably harder if you’re doing multiple connections and trains etc but I can wheel both side my side and I’m ok! Famous last words 😂

What a fun video! I love your travel ensemble! White underwear will show through your linen pants. Take it from a nurse, the best color underwear to wear with white pants is nude/flesh tone. In vlogs, I actually enjoy some music over visuals. Autumn Beckman does a great job with that. I'm so looking forward to your travel vlog!
Thanks Barb! Don’t own any nude underwear but I actually found black was more inconspicuous than white as it looked more like a shadow than white haha. The pants weren’t that see through so it was ok! 😊
Do you have garage doors? Sure you’ll have a fabulous time in Singapore - I did!! Visit Tiger Balm Gardens - weird and wonderful. Jurong Bird Park closed in 2023 so you don’t have to go - scariest place have ever visited!!
