My dad always used to listen to this while he worked in our basement when I was about five, he is still alive, but hearing this brings back so many memories of me just standing in the basement to listen to this song, it was my favorite of the songs on his playlists, I loved it. I've always stressed out about the life ahead of me, had little breakdowns because I can't take it. When I had them in front of people, like my mother, they just ask questions. Why am I upset? Why are you so stressed? I didn't want to answer questions, that doesn't help me. I just wanted reassurance that I could handle it. This song is what I've always wanted to hear. If people just said this to me earlier, then maybe I wouldn't have cried so much when I was younger.

I'm immune compromised and my grandmother survived the Holocaust, one of the last lucid things she said to me is "You have a good heart, don't forget that." and as we go through this pandemic and I'm seeing friends in NY have Zoom shivas and I'm prepared for lockdown for the long hall with my fiance, all I can hear is her words and this song reminds me of them. I have no idea what lies ahead, but I will make sure the world is a bit better when I leave, and in this midst of worldwide fear and panic, that is all I can do.
My mother had an ischemic stroke jan 25 2019 and has had multiple strokes ever since and also been hospitalized since..but even when the doctors said she would only get worse..her exact words to me were " we will prove them wrong" its now July 2019 and My mother has fought hard and still her condition continues to worsen but she's still with us...her last stroke took her ability to speak..I had never heard this song before came across it by accident actually but im so so Grateful i did i dont know if God led me here or what but its like The words are My mom talking to me again..telling me to be strong no matter what and in the end Everything will be ok! I'm only 12 yrs old. And my parents are always say they will divorce infront of me. They always fighting each other. They don't wanna listen to me or my brother. My mom won't listen to me, even if I have a perfect score on my test she will only say: "ok" even when I going to competition for my school in badminton she never gave attention to me. She never gave attention to my brother too and she will always gave her attention to her phone. My brother always saying I'm fat( I'm 150cm with 43kg) my other brother always call me stupid, idiot, brainless even though I'm one of the smartest kid in my class. My father won't even care about my school expenses and that make me borrowing other people stuff like in EVERYTHING. People always said my drawing is so beautiful, and even said their mom or older siblings cannot do that meanwhile my family keep throwing my draws like it's a trash. They even not gonna have a look at it. That's my story. That's makes sense why a 12yrs old girl like me listening to this kinda music ,right?

As an adult who experienced similar childhood to what you have, I am Sorry. No child deserves a home life like that. Keep drawing, keep your good scores, and always smile at yourself in the mirror. Many times throughout the day and remind yourself God puts sparks and candlelight where there is a dark pit. So many babies are in same situations, you are doing God right and making His Glory brilliant. He knows you cry, you hurt, you feel alone and doing more than what He ever called you to do at such a young age. He will put your name up as a child warrior for love. Last year i was arrested, charged with something i didn't even do. got out on bond, bods man screwed me over and sent me back to jail. got out again, my family turned their back on me except for my sister. she helped me financially and mentally, i eventually pleaded guilty cuz i didn't have more money to keep on fighting. i lost everything, i almost lost rights to see my son... this song has given me strength to keep on going with life, but sometimes just wanna kill myself honestly.
I have done this thousands of times since my childhood as i type this i feel diluted unable to heal unable to decide unable to think Everytime i say lies to myself so that i can come back but then same things keeps happening idk i will sleep today wake up tommrow and may not even remember wat i feel today then again get hit by this same emotion that i survived another day. I am unable to type wat i want as i keep forgetting
