- বিয়েতে শ্বাশুড়ির দেয়া উপহারের ১টি গরু থেকে আজ কোটি কোটি টাকার খামারের মালিক হয়েছেন জার্মান ফেরত হুমায়ুন কবীর। সহধর্মীণিকে নিয়ে প্রায় ১ বিঘা জুড়ে গড়ে তুলেছেন নন্দন কানন ক্যাটল ফার্ম।
জীবিকার প্রয়োজনে বিদেশে থাকলেও দেশে ফিরে পরিবারের পছন্দে বিয়ে করেন হুমায়ুন। সেই বিয়েতে শ্বাশুড়ির দেয়া বাছুরসহ একটি গরু লালন-পালন করে ৮৪ হাজার টাকায় বিক্রি করেন কোরবানির হাটে। অল্প সময়ে দ্রুত লাভ হওয়ায় গরু পালনে আরও আগ্রহী হয়ে ওঠেন গাইবান্ধা শহরের হুমায়ুন কবীর। সেই থেকে ধীরে ধীরে গড়ে তোলেন আজকের কোটি টাকার খামার।

ঢাকায় এসে জসিম ঠেলা গাড়ি চালিয়ে লটারি কিনে বাড়ি গাড়ির মালিক হয়েগেলো অথচ আমিও ঢাকায় এসে ভালো চাকরি করে লটারি প্রতিদিন কিনেই যাচ্ছি,
