Auto Select always puts it to 38 for me, something about the Falkreath house from the Hearthfire DLC.
InsayneDaRoss it does the same with mine, although it auto-assigns The Pale hearthstone house. Just use the set stage option and don't click on auto-assign afterwards. Worked for me.

I did as instructed for Repairing the Phial and it just says "House 10 completeled" I'm confused
Thank you for making this mod! I've been hung up on "A New Source for Stalhrim", as so many are, unable to start it. Watched your vid 2x, read the comments (I got bumped to quest id 38 whenever I hit Auto-Select, so I stopped doing that, Thank you Trquis!). Set the stage (Objective # in the journal), and it started! Thank you again!

2 years in the future I know how you feel... I feel ya... I was also stuck on a quest because I needed the Hilt of the razor but the chest that held the hilt never spawned in his house. Thus, I was like huh wtf?

I used auto select to select the alduins bane quest, but the message shows its selecting a house building one (quest index 36) I then tried to just complete the quest but nothing happens
This video helped me so much. Using mods and started off as a vampire and didn't want to become a werewolf for the companions and this video helped me skip that stage so thank youuuuu

I'm trying to use this mod for the civil war, I click auto select and it gives me some random falkreath code instead
To fix it you have the falkreath in your index, go to quest options, then click stop quest, that should fix it

I don't understand whyit does this. And whenever I try to manually enter the quest ID I want to debug nothing happens when I try to compete next stage, complete all objectives, or complete quest...(I'm on xbox1)

Been trying to usw this to bypass alduins bane for i have a horrible bug that makes it impossible to pass the time bound scene after reading the elder scroll the axe weilding warrior just keeps attacking the first dragon even after it dies. But i cant seem to get this to work so i can continue the story..
Please help - Trying to forward the Dragonslayer Quest considering no matter how many reloads I try, Alduin will not appear in Sovngarde meaning I cannot complete the game. I found the quest ID on another website (couldn't find it on the website provided in the description), which was MQ305. I have no idea what the MQ means so I entered the ID 305 as you did in the video but when I auto-selected it it told me that it had selected a FalkreathHouse quest. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.
James Fergusson MQ305 is quest id which helps you to search up the quest in the table for the number
This doesn't seem to work with miscellaneous quests as I have tried and still have not gotten it to work.

Trying to do this for the Throat of the World quest on the Special Edition. I'm unable to continue because Arngeir will not speak with me to teach me the words. He simply says "I have given my answer. Go and reconsider your course". Nothing happens so I cannot continue. Anyone know of a solution? Searching the internet has yielded no results nor has the game patched.
If you don't get any quest items while doing this, does that include shouts? Im bugged at the throat of the world during the cutscene for Alduins Bane and don't want to do this if it means I won't be able to get the shouts/spells needed to complete the quest.
For me it is only telling me that I am on a build your house quest in falkreth Y
Whenever I do auto select and I make sure I only the right quest chosen, it always does does the falkreath house one
make a video showing how to do it on fallout. I'm doing it on Xbox and idk how to get it to work. I'm about to snap the disk in half.
iam_rehab Go into the mod description and type in the first link. Find your the quest's ID and then follow the video from there. Hope this helped

It keeps auto selecting a "companions miscellaneous" quest every time. I'm trying to get debug my Reluctant Steward, but even when I type in it's code it sets it to Index 94. Anybody know what might be happening?

When it comes to an Id I found that the quest I want to do(the silver hand) has an id of c03 so how would i set this in numbers

I played the thalmor embassy mission with noclip on and after entering the thalmor embassy party the ai's stopped working and I completed it but after the quest and I had escaped i couldn't use any weapons spells powers or shouts so I cant play the rest of the playthrough. I need help I think I need to restart and make a new game
So auto select isn't working(keeps selecting 2270 no matter what quest I select) and I can't figure out the numerical value of Trinity Restored. Any suggestions?

I need some help finding a fix for the Bloods Honor quest, the companions are Forever in mourning, and for some reason instead of going to the Purity quest, Vilkas just only allows me to ask him for jobs.
Upon watching this video, I still Can't find The Bloods Honor quest ID because it has letters in it, how can I even set its numerical ID Code with this mod if it says "0001CEF5" or "C04"
i don't understand how to find quest IDs. i'm trying to fix a whole bunch of bugged civil war quests and all the IDs given for them i can find online start with CW, which i obviously can't input.
Hey not sure whats up still. I put in my mission ID which is 1819 for the containment quest. I put in stage 10 for the stage index number because that is the first part of the quest, which I am never giving. What do I press after my numbers are in. If I hit auto select it changes things. When I check my number in the "current stage index is says zero. But when I check "display quest & stage index my numbers are correct. How do I get that number zero to say 10. I assume that is an active quest number but I don't have any highlighted im my pause screen. If hit set stage nothing seems to happen. Should I be away from the college when I do this?

Anyone figure out the index for the Civil War Mission of "Regain Winterhold?" I thought I found it, but instead it made me restart the "Letter from the Jarl" mission.
Could this possibly be updated to fix the Unquiet Dead quest? It's the CC content "Farming".
Some have reported the quest won't even trigger. I have not had that problem. I get the quest, however when I read the journals the quest will not update. I tried using the debugger mod but it doesn't fix the problem.

It keeps giving me the wrong quest I have the gray beards peace council active and it gives me some adoption harthfire bullshit I deactivated all of the quests except that one help

So it shows current quest selected as completed when I check it, but the quest and the quest marker fails to go away

Hey. Not sure this will get answered, but I had a bugged main quest a blade in the dark, where after we kill the dragon at kynesgrove she just keeps repeating good job and wont gove u the dialogue to finish the quest. I downloaded quest debugger and read the author's condescending readme about console players not being able to figure out his console mod. It was straight foward up to the point for me to complete the current quest. Now blade in the dark is complete but the next quest "diplomatic immunity " will not start. I've inputted the quest ID, set the stage to 0, 5, 10 like the readme said to "complete next stage" and start the quest. Nothing. I set all different stages and the only thing that works is to complete the quest. Landing me in the same problem for the next quest. I have all my current quests un tracked and am still unable to start the quest. About to give up, I guess this character isn't going to help the blades then lol

I was searching through the settings menu and came across some three letter "word" starting with the letter T, I didn't want to select it but my cat rubbed up against my hand I pressed the a button selecting that option. It somehow screwed up my game in many ways; first, my followers won't follow me. Second, interactions between me and other npcs won't initiate, I can't select anything in the dialogue options by selecting a. Sometimes my controller won't go a specific direction like it was being directed towards someone or something else. I tried loading and reloading an older save but it seems to have rooted itself somehow because even after making a new game these problems still occur. Right now I've uninstalled my game to see if that works because I did it before from some mod that made Skyrim as a whole unplayable
im trying to become a vampire and the quest where i just got to the castle, and i have to go tell garan marethi something and it wont let me talk to him in lord mode. i get out of lorde mode and go try to talk to him amd he says that humans arent allowed in the castle, then i change into valire lord in front of him and it wont bring up the promt to talk to him, so i changed back to a human in front of him amd everyone started attacking me. ive tried restarting the game and my console, and wondering if anyone will help me and if this mod wil help amd how to fix this specific quest? someone help 0-0

Yeah this mod straight up doesn’t work for the quest I’m on. Trying to do it on the unseen visions quest because the ancestor moths will not come to me but I guess I just have to give up on the dawnguard storyline. So irritating. When i hit complete next stage it just says 1 stage completed but doesn’t actually do anything and I still can’t progress the quest. Hitting complete quest does nothing at all
So it only works with quests put in but the author? I'm trying to get a CC content quest The Cause to actually give me the courier. I don't have it and am level 53 so past the 46.

I've been attempting to use this to complete a blade in the dark due to Delphine's quest completion dialogue not appearing when I speak to her and it has not worked once from what I've read about this mod many others have experienced it not doing a god damn fucking thing can someone either give me a way to complete this quest and advance the main story besides this mod or explain what I could potentially be doing wrong as I followed the steps listed in this video exactly and still got no result from the mod

I’m having a little trouble. I’ve been stuck for awhile with the Dragon rising bug. Irileth never returns to dragonsreach when I give Farengar the dragon stone. The mod allowed me to “complete the quest” but it doesn’t show up in my completed quests. I want to continue the main storyline but I’m stuck. Any help would be appreciated.

Going to try this today. Quest to transcribe lexicon & get elder scroll have worked only once in SE with mods. I've restarted game from the beginning several times & it still screws up. (Wish modders would offer tech support for $$$, at reasonable prices of course.)
