Although this video is mainly based on the storage service alone, however it contains the complete code on how to seamlessly initialize the firebaseApp instance in your project and with that you can easily integrate your spring app with any of the firebase available service.
The final project is a spring boot mvc application that leverages the use of the thymeleaf template engine for the view.
