I dunno about others but i prefer having orders like in Clean House mission than lost myself on open-world styled missions in new COD
On top of that the fact that the gameplay now seems like the one in their battle royale (Warzone i think ?), with the armor plates to restock in your vest, the loadout changes, the need to break down ennemie's armor before killing them, and various other stuff is a bit disturbing. The Modern Warfare reboot a few years ago was quite interesting and kept up with the immersive vibe that made CoD memorable in people's mind back in the old Infinity Ward's days, but now despite StealthGamer's top notch skills (as always), I feel like I'm watching an arcade game, it's quite weird :/
They call it open world but i immediatly noticed its just warzone with bots

When first time playing this mission, I was on veteran. Did not know that map at all. No checkpoints during sweeping through a building. Made it first time without dying lol

They should have given it at least a clean house option. For starters this mission should be at night, it would just look better. Second u could get an option to find a fuse box in the apartment and turn off the power, then use night vision and suppressors

Though the gameplay and skill here is BEYOND perfect, I have to echo the "this is warzone with bots" sentiment. The AI is just beyond stupid here and there is little effort on Sledgehammer's part here to make the levels appealing.
Yes it was Activision going back on its word on skipping CoD in 2023 but still.
Look at Battlefron 2 (2005) the campaing was put together at the VERY LAST MINUTE. But still the devs used the same multiplayer maps but gave them a spin. AA turrets on Mygeeto, actually fighting jedi on the temple, Clones vs Stormrroopers on Kamino and all put together with Temura Morrison's narration.
Here they just gave up. As much crap as we must gice the publisher, the devs shot themselves on the foot with all of the promises they made.
