    In The World Eaters mod I love it when the Khorne maine says this on selection: *"Khrone! grant me your power so I can sweep this army aside!"*

    This map style generates a ton of resources. Sad to see the side lanes being ignored. Pretty huge oversight.

    The idea of the Death Korps of Krieg riding a "Bob Semple" tank into battle is the funniest image, holy crap that thing was garbage and it would get shredded immediately but they'd still make it work!

    Really strange composition from the Krieg player since this map is perfect for their defensive structures. I'd have called this game for the Krieg player after seeing this lane style map. Cant sleep on bunkers and barbed wire.

      Right? I could swear that he would win, Khorne is very weak against vehicles and buildings in the beginning, but the Death Korps kept insisting in light tanks and infantry.

    For anyone interested, the actual inspiration for the Daemonhost almost certainly comes from Gregor Eisenhorn, since the one in Darktide is pretty much a 1-to-1 representation of "Cherubael", one of Eisenhorn's more dangerous enemies and occasionally odd allies.

    Not super impressed, it feels like the krieg had a build in mind and never played to his strengths with no defensive focus at all. He never even tryed to counter WE's heavy infantry or split push using superior number of squads. That early game army wipe was painful to watch. World Eaters can be OP quite effortlessly where in contrast Krieg has some weaknesses to play around.

      They both played very poorly tbh. No real strategy if you float like crazy and cannot micro your units.

      You don't have to be impressed to be entertained, it was still a cool match. 1 of the things I love about table top 40k is how incredibly one sided the battles can be.

      @@williamnichols539 I mean caster agrees with me the gameplay is poor. And I think most people agree balanced matches are better than one sided. That being said I respect your view on it !

      He *did* recognize he was fighting heavy infantry by giving many of his soldiers plasma guns, but he should've more holistically kept in mind he was fighting infantry that are individually a fair bit tougher than his own.

    The Siegfried reminds me of the small Tankettes of the 1920s. That is probably what the unit is based on.

    A tournament would be perfect to categorize how good the players and factions are

    • @TheLaughingMax
      @TheLaughingMax 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The factions are pretty balanced all things considered. If anything DKoK is probably the strongest or at least one of the strongest factions right now.

    • @inwit594
      @inwit594 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TheLaughingMax DKoK is very strong. They've got a better infantry game than IG (with the exception of the priest with the ogryn, but otherwise I think DKoK infantry is very strong) but are a little weaker vehicle wise. They've got a lot of staying power when they manage to get their structures down and, importantly to me, their lower-tier infantry retain utility later into the game. Jagers (the cheapest DKoK infantry) can be upgraded to anti-structure/anti-vehicle, which is useful for harassing.

    During the Siege of Vraks, the heretic forces managed to summon a daemon army as a last ditch effort to help defend against the Death Korps of Kreig. They were led by a Bloodthirster if I remember correctly.
    A huge battle then was fought where the daemons sallied out of the heretic defenses and charged the Death Korp lines. They had caused massive causalities and almost pushed the Korps back completely.
    So for all intents and purposes this battle is canon. It is fought in the grand ruines of a city. Much like on Vraks.
    Spoiler warning:
    chaos was later defeated by the intervention of the Inquisiton and the Grey Knights. Because ofcourse

      If DKoK would take middle and in trench there they would be unstoppable. Also Siegfried right now are completely useless unit, theycost almost as much as Storm Chimera that is much better in every way

    • @sebastijanglozinic8630
      @sebastijanglozinic8630 ปีที่แล้ว

      Krieg does not need a buff, they are fine. This player just does not apparently know how to use them. If he had built a bunker in the middle and used his barbed wire to stop the World Eaters from closing into melee so easily, he would have won. Also, he should have gone for Storm Chimeras instead of Siegfrieds. Death Riders are also a poor unit choice against the World Eaters. The World Eaters are all about melee. If you go into melee against them, you have already lost.
