Thanks so much for this. I’m cooking Iftar for an Algerian friend tonight. He always talks about the soup & bourek. Really appreciate that you’ve uploaded an English recipe. Great filming too. Have subscribed and love to see more recipes.

Salam . What kind of wheat did you use please ? Any particular brand or store ? I looked at it online, there is so many types of wheat . Saha Ramdankom
@@qweenalisonmariehernandez5619 Hi Alison...No I didn't get an answer but I looked at her written recipe below her video and it says wheat / frik so I googled it...Its Frik or Freekeh.. It is a whole grain and can be bought at natural and organic grocery stores... There are online stores that sell it also... If you can't find any, then it can be substituted with bulgur wheat, farrow, whole grain teff or brown rice... Hope this helps 😊
@@elijahheyes9061 thank you! I was more confused by the "prepare your wheat" part. But I figured that I could ask one of my Algerian friends. Ramadan is coming up and I want to prepare this.
Algeria just took independent 1962 from france before that is Turkey .the food you cooking is Moroccan and also Moroccan cuisine well known all over the world. God bless Fatma

Wheat?? Is that flour
What do you eat this with ??
Bourak or kessra
Hey in Algeria do you speak Arabic
2 tablespoons (30mL) of cinnamon, salt, and pepper??? Are you sure?
Other recipes seem to use this same amount in teaspoons or even less.
It depends on your preference but I think tablespoons it quite reasonable 😊
I use way less pepper and only occasionally about 1 tsp of cinnamon. Some don't use cinnamon at all, depending on preferences
😊😊my name 😊😊
Husband should be in there helping, it’s 2020
Mind your own business.
