The space bars / alien theme is part of their whole concept as a group; it's not just random mumble jumble especially in this song since it's about them being space mutants (x-gene) and their dance/imagery here even depicts DNA, the womb, umbilical cord etc.. Glad you noticing XG Alien Storyline concept. A lot of people don't notice XG alien concept at all. For some people XG Music Videos don't make sense to them or what's going on in some of XG Music Videos because they don't understand XG Alien Storyline. If they follow XG Music Videos in Released order it would probably make more sense to them.
Love your analyzation of their music how you take so much in from different perspectives. XG, for me, tends to lean in the direction of quality over quantity/ length of time. Having been following them from almost the beginning of their debut myself and most others included have had the honor of seeing their growth each time they release new music so the hype over them stems a lot from those of us that have gone on this journey with them. Being able to go through this journey from the beginning to now (woke up) lends itself better to being hyped up now then starting from woke up and going backwards. Also woke up is in a sense the starting point of a new era/comeback for them, with the previous piece of work being more "pop" than rap. So this being their first all rap song hence lyrics like "left to take another planet, left to make another statement" illudes to them switching it up from their past work so it hits a lot harder for ALPHAZ (xg fans nickname).
