Honestly, Dragalia Lost is a masterpiece among mobile gaming. It saddens me that more people don't play it. But with the changes to summoning and the FEH crossover, I hope that more people will join this community and play this game, and it becomes even more popular.

I’ve been a day-one player and at first I didn’t like the gatcha and some features in the game, but over the past 6 months, every issue I had was addressed and fixed. I still can’t believe that they took wyrmprints out of the gatcha. That’s amazing!
I used to play FEH, Terra Battle, PaD, and numerous other phone games. DL had become my main game due to how awesome Cygames has been and the fact that you're able to play at your own pace instead of being forced to being on your phone 24/7. FEH is the only game I still have downloaded but I only log on mostly for dailies now.
I love this video! I agree with every single point. I have never spent money on a f2p game before this one, and the real reason I spent anything at all is because I wanted to support the game instead of feeling like I had to have one specific unit. The developers are definitely doing something right when there are so many happy and supportive players. This last high dragon trial really amazed me. It was my first time trying for day 1 clears with a preassigned team from the Discord, and my teammates were all very supportive and optimistic. That feeling of finally taking down HMC for the first time with those teammates is unmatched. I've never experienced a more friendly online community for a game. I'm proud to be a part of this community with everyone else. Sorry for the long-winded post, and keep up the amazing work!
Honestly I wouldn't mind a console release of a Dragalia Lost game spinoff. This game is awesome. While I'll always be a Fire Emblem fanboy, this is my definitive mobile game. Also all the Mym and Notte. The only thing I think is a missed opportunity is that the backstory of characters could be spoken in English. Whoever does the translation write exactly how they would speak in English release. I just wish I could her the voice actors say those lines but it's just a minor nitpick to this great game. Also Nefaria I don't know why but I love her personality.

After a while the game satisfied my predisposition for grinding (pokemon did when I was young, and cookie clicker in my adolescence). The game is high fantasy I find that very appealing. It can be challenging at times; I most certainly had a poor attitude when I was not able to get characters other players had shown in summon videos. When the characters were at the top of some stat list I thought they were necessary. In many cooperative games, there are a stick set of characters and builds you have to have in order to even attempt let alone succeed in game content. Over time I think I have calmed down a bit, I have grown to appreciate what I have. My verica has carried me through so much, and when chapter 8 ended I was very excited for the rewards provided. The level headed guidance of some youtubers (like yourself), the kindness of the discord that helped me clear a master challenge, my appreciation for the art, and investment with the characters and stories keep me coming back. The developers are admirable, and in today's market that seems to be increasingly rare. I really like this game. I may get sore fingers from spamming the tapping, but I really do like this game!
I wholeheartedly agree. I love Dragalia Lost more than any other gach game mostly because one could tell Nintendo is involved in the game development just by playing the game. Just like one could deduct that a movie animation was produced by Disney.

Gratz on the 4K subscribers. Love that you were playing the Halloween rap music the the background. Love Daiko and the music she brings to this game. One of my favorite events was Halloween, with H. Ely being my favorite character. I'm so happy I got her. Favorite dragon is Marishiten. I really liked that you pointed out that there is so much freedom to play the game how you want. That's why even though people have abandoned this game for various reasons, I still play because of that freedom. It's not a job, it's a game! Love that! I already have a full time job, right? Also the fact that there is no PVP is awesome. No power creeping P2W players making me feel like the weakest link. I'm more of a PVE player (long time FF player). The developers are responsive and yes, Nintendo. I hope it goes to the Switch one day. I'm so happy that you still play. It's good to see a content creator still loyal to a game, even though so many other people have abandoned it. What I want changed? Less grind tbh! Trying to get the 1 million to acquire all rewards is a bit much. In order to get more drops, they tie it to a wyrmptint. But then you have to summon in hopes for that Wyrmprint. They do give the event wyrmprint for more drops, but it isn't the greatest. And finally a pity summon for that LE character/dragon. Seeing so many people whale for a specific LE character/dragon with no success, saddens me. Great video!
FEH desperately needs to take a page from Dragalia Lost how to run their own game. Dragalia Lost is fun to play and keeps getting better beyond expectation with updates. As for FEH I haven't been excited for anything they put out in several months and keep getting worse with their powercreep making old units unviable unless with heavy investing. I only play FEH for login bonuses and maybe daily quests if I'm not busy. If they don't shape up soon I'll quit FEH after the summer. Dragalia Lost for life, Praise Illia, and Vio Rhyse Alberia!
I think the story elements and character development coincide with the cooperative element of the game. Everyone who joins the halidom is a misfit in some way, yet all find refuge in Euden's leadership, which brings them hope. It's something that I've wanted to see flourish in a gaming community, and maybe that's why I've stuck around.
No lie you have to be one of the best Dragalia Lost context creators. Always looking forward to your videos. Hope your channel growns thanks for all the videos 😁
I just downloaded about a week ago and I'm really enjoying it. I had my husband download it as well so we can progress together. Wish I knew about this game earlier!!
Im a gatcha gamer and this is the flavor of my year and a half. Something new will come along and i will give this game a sweet kiss goodbye. Love this game!
I love Dragalia Lost because of how in control I feel when I play. I'm not a fan of those mobile games that play for you. But with Dragalia, the gameplay is so fun! And the story is surprisingly good as well! As you said, you grow to care for these characters. It's just so cute and charming.
On a serious note, there are plenty of other details you glossed over that contribute to how good Dragalia feels to play, like how you don't lose stamina or wings until you WIN the stage. It means you have nothing to lose by being experiment with weaker characters, and if you set up some private matches, you have a lot of potential to do some REALLY stupid stuff you wouldn't even think of in other games. I do wish Puzzle and Dragons would learn from this, considering how it needs experimentation more and knowing the statistical information of your enemies is much more important. Which leads up to my next point, how intuitive fighting is, and while there is room for more complexity, the devs do really make the most out of so little, which the Void Battles demonstrate, on top of new mechanics that don't feel so nasty to deal with once you see how to efficiently counter it. As a certain man said about how an entirely different game was a timeless masterpiece for combat that made you feel like losing was often your own fault, it's easier to blame yourself than to blame the gacha in most circumstances. Hell, the players I see that do something really dumb to take away our chances of winning were usually the 5-star + high might players who couldn't even target the right body part in raids. There's also the low might players but it's really easy to tell if they seem weak because of being literally new, and even then, when they contribute correctly and bring on-element units they last pretty well. And when it's due to something completely unintended (Void Agni's targetting went derp at least once or twice and killed an unsuspecting Xander ), being able to retry instantly with those who haven't quit, due to the aforementioned perk of not losing anything by failing, it feels really good to make it when you're all sure you can, or to get better off when you realize you're not good enough. Additionally, their methods of adding content do in a way slow the necessary evil of power creep, with the Void Weapons not being necessarily better than the ol 5T3 weapons but far more newbie friendly (no Insignias or Sands needed!) so you can improve quickly where it matters stat-wise without event-restricted materials getting in the way. And I know this is basically just now, but if you saw the datamine... *NEW STICKERRRRRRRRS*
love this game so much, the new update was so amazing and summoning is so much better. I used 20 single ticket and 5 tenfold tickets and got all 3 fire emblem characters and 4 5* characters (lin you, Louise, Hawkeye and Naveed) and 3 5* dragons (Levithan, panda, nidhogg).
I re-picked up the game 2 months ago to try and get to 10,000. After a month of playing I got to that, but decided to save up my summons and everything for the Fire Emblem event. Now I got Alfonse, Fjorm, and Marth as great pieces to my squads and a bunch of other characters I didn't do their dedicated summoning focuses for this event like Laranoa, Sylas, Maribelle, etc. This game has been the nicest and fun mobile experience I've played.
Dragalia has been a real charm to play, I've made a few friends playing the game, and we all enjoy just about everything. Every character is so fun and full of personality and Althemia is the best, and you can't change my mind. Also pls no more Light swords, Cygames, k thx
I would add a #0 here: the game is designed for longterm growth. Some games are ruined for busy people by adding in “0 cost” events that give kids and NEETs the upper hand. We’re also half a year in and have only encountered two characters that are stronger than your average 5* (referring to the Gala Dragalia units). We could still go a while before encountering 6* units, and that’s a good thing for people that pay in. This ties in well with #6 but ranks much higher as this is the very thing that turned me away from Kingdom Hearts: UX and Mobius Final Fantasy. As for #2, there’s only one game I know with more responsive developers, and that is Final Fantasy: Record Keeper. I played that game for three years and saw amazing improvements over that time. The only reason I stopped was that I burned out on the hours I woUld put in building parties and strategies.
Well said. And as one of the bigger Dragalia-focused TH-cam channels out there, you're a large positive contributor to what makes this a "wholesome" community. With all the quality of life improvements we've gotten over all this time, there's really not a lot that I'd really want to be "fixed". Personally, my biggest desire would would be for them to streamline the weapon crafting system. Crafting a few Tier 1 weapons isn't such a big deal, but crafting Tier 3 weapons is rather time consuming when you have to manually unbind and level up every weapon. And it's excruciatingly tedious when crafting max unbound T3 weapons; crafting a MUB Tier 3 void staff for Lowen felt like it took longer than gathering the materials. If they made it such that we could directly tap on a T2 or T3 weapon on the crafting page, input the necessary crafting materials and experience fodder (whetstones or weapons), and directly craft the desired number of unbinds on the weapon, I would be over the moon in satisfaction.
My number 1 reason why I play DL is cause it reminds me so much of another game series I adore called Fantasy Life for the 3ds, and with japan having 2 moblie games of said series with one being rather new and came out not long before DL did (Fantasy Life online being the name), with gameplay alike to DL that when DL came out I just had to play it once I saw the game play and units for it, due to FL:O most likely never getting a english release. It legit reminds me so much of said series that i hold dearly to my heart but with the fact you can turn into dragons and i love that idea so much!
I'm just started playing this game. I forgot that I pre registered for this game and recently saw a video on it. As for the best music mobile rpg, I do like the music of this game but Sdorica Sunset by far has the best music I've every heard in a mobile game imo :3
I quit shortly after Halloween then came back about a week ago due to hearing about the FE event. I really believe this is gonna replace FFBE as my main gacha. The devs are my #1 reason for this switch, they seem to care about the community and just keeping the consumer happy. The QoL changes are great and come out at a crazy fast pace compared to what I have seen from other games.
I played Dragalia Lost because Cygames is involved in it and I'm pretty much spoiled by the amount of freebies cygames gives to the playerbase, I played all their games and I know that cygames likes to celebrate every little thing and they are dedicated in events, its never boring in the long run ever cuz I always look forward to the next event. When I read the story especially the event stories you can really feel the love and dedication in the characters.
one of the many things I would like to see is them adding a soundtrack list in the game were you can listen to any of the songs with or without lyrics. heck I would get it on cd if they chose to make it.
Just search up Daoko on spotify or something. Pretty much all the music, including background music, is Daoko. If you want the instrumentals I think a few of her albums that some.
wwwhhhaaaaaaa what a nice video :Dtbh i started DL cuz of my sister, i luv the game and its fun tho sometimes frustrating when i cant clear a boss .i even hated those type of games where u need to build teams and farm materials that i never played them but on the day the game got released my sister was like " oh hey nintendo and cygames made a collab game" and i just downlaoded it right away, i knew of gbf but i couldnt play it as i didnt like those types of games and i really wanted to have a game that i can play with my sis, so ive tried it out and oh boy i fell hard for this game even tho for the first two weeks i didnt know how to do anything and had to run to my sister for every little thing :P your points are great and i agree with them, i never saw a game that is so responsive to the what players want. tho i still sad they remove prints cuz i luv summoing for them lol.someone on discord said that cygames said that the players could have had more things if it werent for nintendo who kinda stoped them from giving us more free things lol i do hope that in the future we do got some type of competition and if not pvp than guild wars like in gbf that is basicly pve collecting points and getting some great rewards, even tho i dont think pvp would be a problem as everything in dl that makes a unit stronger can be farmd and with the prints removed it would be easier for ppl to mub 5* dragons so pvp actully can be really fun activity for ppl like me who want a bit of competetive vibe on the side :D(i started a game knight chronicle cuz they had collab with my fave manag fairytail- got all the units from the collab without spending a dime and the game is fun- thye have a pvp but its not a live pvp and u can choose the team u go against so u dont really get someone op against u, and its fun, its similiar to dl but with 5 units on a team instead, they also have co-op and i really want such pvp in dl as it might seem really fun with dl mechanics, htye also have similiar summoning but u can summon 11 units instead of 10 (for 200 crystals + free daily summon) and u dont need to craft weapons or anything and dupes are actully a must to enhance skills and maxing out character to make them stronger XDD) lmao sorry for the long comment kinda just went into it too much with hype XDDDDD
Trust me, you don't want direct PVP in this game. It would lead to horrible, horrible powercreep. It always does. Nintendo actually encouraged the developers to be more generous, not less. But otherwise, I agree and I'm glad to have you in our community! Glad you're having fun with your sister! I wish I could play this with my siblings, but we're all adults now with full-time jobs 😔
I play for the dragons. Simple yes but I love dragons. The world is more or less another Tolkien world which isn't necessarily a bad thing but we do need to stop using the same template all the time. That being said what I find most interesting is the advanced technology of the ancient civilization. I want to learn more about it and Euden to get his hands on it. The side characters however do feel isolated from the main story. It would be nice if they had some effect on the story.
I mean technically Malka and Ramona is there, along with some characters with Gala Ranzal's story tied promotion but I see what you mean. I doubt gala ranzal is gonna start appearing in cutscenes now.
I been sending this suggestion to them for a while, been waiting for a response There should be a notification if your setup on the helper settings is not done like just picking a character but no weapon, wyrmprints, and dragon. Or they should make a auto set if you decide not to set it up
Not necessarily because dragons are element-specific. I.e. you want a flame dragon for a flame character. Generally though, the best 5* dragons boost strength, like Zephyr, Agni, Cerberus, Leviathan, and Cupid. Less strength but still good include Long Long, Prometheus, Gilgamesh, Pazuzu, and Nyarlathotep. And then Liger, Poseidon, Garuda, and Jeanne d'Arc. But once you get one copy of a 4* or 5* dragon, you can earn materials to max unbind it over time.
I tried this game before but couldn't get into it. Now with Marth in this game I did a few rerolls until I received him and some random 5 * dragons so I will give the game another shot.
for a coop game there should be a better way for players to communicate and build a community like party, guild in game. leave a message or post in friends list.
Yeah, I've kinda been sleeping on DL...literaly since launch, the truth I've pre-registered in the first few days of the pre-registration campaign. in fact, I was one of your FIRST subscribers when u launched this channel. I'm not playing not cuz I don't want to...but cuz I can't, u know I don't own a decent phone that can run DL...but that's not exactly the problem itself, I live in a third-world country... and obviously, money is a problem here (very sh*tty minimum wage, and I'm a STUDENT). I tried to play DL on emulator right on the launch day, I played it for a while, but actually playing DL on an emulator is very tedious, on top of being risky, I kept my account and data but stopped playing until I'm capable of getting a decent phone, now I might be able to do that soon (not sure how soon tho, depends on a certain event). But I have a problem now regarding my account that I made back then when I tried to play it on an emulator. I didn't link it to my Nintendo account then cuz as I said it was kinda risky, 2 weeks ago I wanted to log in just to link my account, and after updating and downloading 1.8GB of the data I've missed... I couldn't log in, prob cuz it's an emulator. I REEEEAAALLLY want to link that account, it would mean so much to me that when I can play it again I will be returning to an account as old as the game.
You will need to start levling up the facilities in your Halidom, so that you can upgrade your Smithy and the Halidom itself. Start playing Imperial Onslaught to exchange its drops for Dojos. Those Dojos are a quick way to boost your facility level and power up all your characters of that weapon type.
1:58 Man, I like the lore in DL because it actually has a coherent story that is well paced and related back to the lore. The Summoners War lore is kind of shallow in comparison: there's a war over a powerful crystal, and then there's the Sky Arena created as a compromise to settle disputes on that crystal. The story seems bland because you rush to explore different regions (and then attempt to prevent a giant dimensional door from completely opening). Nothing else (TOA, Cairos Dungeon, Tartarus Labyrinth) has any relation to the lore or story than "it's just there because we say so".
Also, I think your video was a sort of retaliation against SaltySeven's crappy whining video? If that's the case then THANK YOU. It's up to us, the DL community, to prevent people from trying to repel newcomers by spreading false information. Well done!

And as someone who found this channel about a month ago to look for Dragalia focused channels, let me say it's a pleasure so far
Extremely well put!!!! Thanks!
love this game so much, the new update was so amazing and summoning is so much better. I used 20 single ticket and 5 tenfold tickets and got all 3 fire emblem characters and 4 5* characters (lin you, Louise, Hawkeye and Naveed) and 3 5* dragons (Levithan, panda, nidhogg).
You said it man! I actively feel bad for the people out there that aren’t giving this game a chance
I can't help but feel this is throwing shade at mango's video a bit and I love it
i'm just here to say hi to mango seven. i still laugh hysterically whenever i remember that vid lol.
I haven't seen it, but I almost don't want to, because I know like 75% of his reasons are going to be outdated and annoying.
One of his reasons was that it is/was P2W... Because you can buy the monthly pack with the ingot...
1: a balance of cute characters & badass characters my few reasons I play this game
If they made it such that we could directly tap on a T2 or T3 weapon on the crafting page, input the necessary crafting materials and experience fodder (whetstones or weapons), and directly craft the desired number of unbinds on the weapon, I would be over the moon in satisfaction.
same Resplendent Refrain was my favorite raid!!! I love the soundtrack and the visuals it was super cute. 😍💕
I hope they made A second version of it could be A chance!
Lime pop me too!!! hopefully
5:07 same! I liked Resplendent Refrain the most! ❤️
All the artwork is soo nice! My favorite is #2... It's super cute
Such a awesome video, especially after I watched other channel that just give 10 dated salty complaint about the game..
Spread love, not hate
Regular JP Notte : Oh hey its Notte
True, Superior EN Notte: *WELCOME HOME MASTER*
That dislike is from mango seven
But really this video is on point, I love this game
Lol hilarious 😂 but yeah game is FUN AS FUCK
When u got to #2 I was like, yesss ❤
Light hearted fun fun fun !
Legit, my first time hearing, "Gary Stu".
Love that "Cinderella step" bgm.
one of the many things I would like to see is them adding a soundtrack list in the game were you can listen to any of the songs with or without lyrics. heck I would get it on cd if they chose to make it.
Oh, definitely!
Just search up Daoko on spotify or something. Pretty much all the music, including background music, is Daoko. If you want the instrumentals I think a few of her albums that some.
I understand but I'm just one of those kind of people.
I feel like not only the mechanics and story are good the background music is just amazing and the developers are the best😂
Lol your no. 3 is greatly helped by your discord cuz damn is it supportive
id show this to a friend who vehemently says no to playing it but the thumbnail of mym is... questionable. good job as always!
Reason number 1-
Mym, only Mym.
Best game on mobile for sure love the channel keep it up your doing great
I got back to it for the FEH units. I hope to get me Marth and continue explorin the game.
But gotta get that marth first...
Mym is the only reason you need to play this game
tons of changes since game release..i salute DL dev team!
recent April patch is my most favourite one..wyrmprint summon? that nightmare is GONE!
wwwhhhaaaaaaa what a nice video :Dtbh i started DL cuz of my sister, i luv the game and its fun tho sometimes frustrating when i cant clear a boss .i even hated those type of games where u need to build teams and farm materials that i never played them but on the day the game got released my sister was like " oh hey nintendo and cygames made a collab game" and i just downlaoded it right away, i knew of gbf but i couldnt play it as i didnt like those types of games and i really wanted to have a game that i can play with my sis, so ive tried it out and oh boy i fell hard for this game even tho for the first two weeks i didnt know how to do anything and had to run to my sister for every little thing :P
your points are great and i agree with them, i never saw a game that is so responsive to the what players want. tho i still sad they remove prints cuz i luv summoing for them lol.someone on discord said that cygames said that the players could have had more things if it werent for nintendo who kinda stoped them from giving us more free things lol
i do hope that in the future we do got some type of competition and if not pvp than guild wars like in gbf that is basicly pve collecting points and getting some great rewards, even tho i dont think pvp would be a problem as everything in dl that makes a unit stronger can be farmd and with the prints removed it would be easier for ppl to mub 5* dragons so pvp actully can be really fun activity for ppl like me who want a bit of competetive vibe on the side :D(i started a game knight chronicle cuz they had collab with my fave manag fairytail- got all the units from the collab without spending a dime and the game is fun- thye have a pvp but its not a live pvp and u can choose the team u go against so u dont really get someone op against u, and its fun, its similiar to dl but with 5 units on a team instead, they also have co-op and i really want such pvp in dl as it might seem really fun with dl mechanics, htye also have similiar summoning but u can summon 11 units instead of 10 (for 200 crystals + free daily summon) and u dont need to craft weapons or anything and dupes are actully a must to enhance skills and maxing out character to make them stronger XDD)
lmao sorry for the long comment kinda just went into it too much with hype XDDDDD
Got Marth and Fjorn finally after getting completely shafted
Cleo Memes. I require more Cleo.
I been sending this suggestion to them for a while, been waiting for a response
There should be a notification if your setup on the helper settings is not done like just picking a character but no weapon, wyrmprints, and dragon. Or they should make a auto set if you decide not to set it up
best game im will support this no matter what
Good video but I been noticing this not a lot of people cover this game :( but keep the good work
Thanks, I tried it earlier and haven’t continued but after these reasons, checking out again. Are there specific dragons to aim for?
Not necessarily because dragons are element-specific. I.e. you want a flame dragon for a flame character. Generally though, the best 5* dragons boost strength, like Zephyr, Agni, Cerberus, Leviathan, and Cupid. Less strength but still good include Long Long, Prometheus, Gilgamesh, Pazuzu, and Nyarlathotep. And then Liger, Poseidon, Garuda, and Jeanne d'Arc. But once you get one copy of a 4* or 5* dragon, you can earn materials to max unbind it over time.
Dragalia Foundry I saw your guide for 5*, I haven’t summoned yet at all and got Hildegard. Guess this game very f2p? Lol. Thanks for vids.
They've done some much for the game now that I can't stop anymore
i have no idea why i play dragalia anymore. i think i am burned out again
ps.omg,that feh and notte hug
i love it!
I play it because I know I don’t have to spend hours grinding everyday.
And since there is no pvp, I can simply be a casual player.
Love the game.
Thumbnail alone is enough reason
Great work. I reckon every settlement.
Woooo!
he said it again!
Nostalgic.
I tried this game before but couldn't get into it. Now with Marth in this game I did a few rerolls until I received him and some random 5 * dragons so I will give the game another shot.
Hope you enjoy it!
Do you think you can also make a guide on how to play the game, what should be done and then show end game
I have 2 reason
-gameplay
-fanservice
But mostly fanservice
I just love wahmen bodies
for a coop game there should be a better way for players to communicate and build a community like party, guild in game. leave a message or post in friends list.
i play because i love the music! so! so! much! but then another reason come up (Irfan, fritz, and hilde) and i just can't leave the game xD
Have same reason for love this wonderfull game
Is the same why I play Fire emblem, I don't want to ride a dragon, I want a dragon to ride me :D
What's the name of the song at 0:45
The only gacha game that I've stuck to for this long, and somehow I only sense myself getting deeper as I start tackling harder content.
so what do you think now, after 1 year of director change and aniv coming up? i just played recently but it seem director change have huge impact
Number 1 reason I play this game.....
Ponies
Also what's the music that plays on #1?
Thought number one was just going to be Eleonora ^^
I'm having Major issues with weapons... I just beat chapter 6, if you want reference to where I am. What should I do next?
You will need to start levling up the facilities in your Halidom, so that you can upgrade your Smithy and the Halidom itself. Start playing Imperial Onslaught to exchange its drops for Dojos. Those Dojos are a quick way to boost your facility level and power up all your characters of that weapon type.
@@DragaliaFoundry Ok, thanks for the info.
Still the best soundtrack was the new years one ^^

How free to play it is so fun and nice
1:58 Man, I like the lore in DL because it actually has a coherent story that is well paced and related back to the lore.
The Summoners War lore is kind of shallow in comparison: there's a war over a powerful crystal, and then there's the Sky Arena created as a compromise to settle disputes on that crystal. The story seems bland because you rush to explore different regions (and then attempt to prevent a giant dimensional door from completely opening). Nothing else (TOA, Cairos Dungeon, Tartarus Labyrinth) has any relation to the lore or story than "it's just there because we say so".
still hoping global release T.T
been following the news since direct yet still cant play it
they even shut down emulator work around T.T
Also, I think your video was a sort of retaliation against SaltySeven's crappy whining video? If that's the case then THANK YOU. It's up to us, the DL community, to prevent people from trying to repel newcomers by spreading false information. Well done!
